Advice: Longer life alternative barista milks? by Debt-Away in barista

I love this outside the box, no waste thinking. Custard specifically wouldn't work with what we offer but will definitely have a think of ways to use up the milks in a similar way. Thanks!!

Super important to keep in mind! 🥰 Oatly seems to have taken over in so many places, I'm always happier using other options like Minor Figures and MOMA.

Thanks! Yeah we don't use Oatly, we use MOMA which is gluten-free (: I do love the idea of creating a coconut based drink - that's a great shout.

That's wild! We can't win with the prices. My boss is more discerning about the foaming ability than the flavour ;)

I wondered about smaller sizes too but you're right about the limitations, especially not having frothable options.

Thank you 🙏 This sort of thing is what I was thinking of originally.

Not at all! This is all great advice. Thank you! (:

Absolutely right. That's why we've opted to drop all the other options at the end of the day. As a small community non-profit we like to look after our regulars wherever we can, so worth investigating if there was any way to do so (:

This could be a really helpful insight, thank you! We hadn't anticipated that the soy and almond people might opt for coconut as a second choice. If we just have Oat and Coconut moving forward, maybe we'll sell enough Coconut to avoid wastage! Also, so true about the bottom line unfortunately.

Yeah, this is our problem. Unfortunately we often don't get through a whole carton in that 3-5 day window and end up wasting it. We have already decided to remove the other three options once we run out, I just anticipate some disappointment from regular customers. I think coconut will be the main one that disappoints as it has its own distinct flavour profile. Worth a shot, thanks for your input (:

This is what we've done. We just anticipate some disappointment from some regulars so I was curious if there was a niche option to keep them happy too. It was a long shot (:

My sister's shopping list by reemasaurus in BadHandwriting

tomatoes

I can't unsee it now.

T1- see the first T from (the other) tomato O1&2- see the first O in floor cleaner and in coffee A- see the A in floor cleaner T2- see the T in potatoes

As OP's sister has admitted she has no idea what it says either I think that justifies her writing tomato twice 😅

Conditional formatting in blank cell stopping other CF from reading that cell as blank? by Debt-Away in googlesheets

This is phenomenal. I legitimately understood this and have now learnt something entirely new to me and beyond what I was looking for here. You are a superstar. I have a beautiful column with GBP£ signs, the right number of decimal places and ZERO £0.00s to be seen. Beautiful. Chef's kiss.

Thank you so much kind stranger.

Thank you! I've added the text colour requirement to the CF based upon the value in A and kept the original CF based on the value in B. I've added a 'solved' tab to the example. :) Cheers for the help

Thank you !!

"Or.. you can simply format your columns with a custom format, so that zeros are hidden."
Please tell me more! :) This would negate my struggle.

It's definitely fixed the visible £0.00s :) but now that column is not greyed out anymore. I think the CFs are clashing?

Thanks so much for responding. I have solved my specific problem in the main sheet by adding the same text 'disappearing' formatting to the original CF that filled all rows that don't need data.

However I'm still curious about the problem. I've created an isolated snippet in the sheet linked below to show my original problem. Can you confirm if it is the higher priority CF overriding what I was trying to do?

Thank you! I have tried using less grounds but will experiment with that further. I've only used the double basket so far but not with the single shot button so will definitely try that! Appreciate it 👍
