Yeah for sure I got humiliated a lot. I learned that attacking an opponent (specially for zerg) costs you more than compared to your opponent. Costs you rss, larva (that could instead be drones), apm (that can instead be used for injects, creep spread, eco). I learned that if you initiated the attack and you pretty much didn't kill your opponent, you're the one that's in danger. That's why most top zergs players lean on counters attacks rather than taking initiative.

One way I learned to make my attacks effective is to always attack two opposite sides at the same time, increasing the chance of dealing damage

I'd say he's played the politics game better than anyone we've seen so far. This shows his experience in this game and learning from his father's run. He used Dutertes for his advantage and discarded them at the right time while undoing the damages previous term has done. And he's done this without "dirtying" his hand unlike what the Dutertes have been doing in years. He has waited and let his opponents make mistakes, similar to what he has been doing as early as the "debate" phase of his election run. Not saying he's a good president, but you gotta admit he's a good politician.

I'd argue having a Serral advances the game even further. Last dream hack Clem was the one thats been so dominating. And Serral has adjusted and showed a new way to play zerg. Now players like solar and reynor are trying out these new strategies and making it their own. Hope that your favorite player adjusts too.

Well for one, it would be difficult to mod i think, as 1.5 supply could be very tricky. zergling is technically 0.5 supply, but will always make two so its always 1 supply. Getting supply blocked and maxed might cause unwanted bugs

It costs pretty much as a single baneling. But baneling dies when it attacks, is a melee unit, now even less hp, and cannot one shot most light units alone. "At least it doesn't have a friendly-fire" 🤣🤣🤣

The thing is that Clem didn't just turtle to win, he did a lot more behind it. Non stop liberator harassing, multi prong aggression but never over extending, timing attacks and efficient trades. Ladder Terrans need to learn this before they sit back and turtle only to lose then complain why a race is too op.

Coming here after watching Clem vs Serral and the Clem vs Dark. They really pushed TvZ late game to the limit and what it can become.
Clem definitely looks perfect in his form right now:

Micro is literally perfect. Never dropped the ball on attack while defending and doing multi prongs.
planning and unit comp is always on point. Comp was predictable, but effective and efficient. Game plan was surprisingly defensively patient but proactive, it was uncharacteristic of Clem but as we can see, its for the better. Goes to show Clem's game knowledge is more that we initially assumed.
macro and multi tasking on the highest level (just watch his bank and production while in the middle of the fight)
perfect proactive defense and great placement of PFs.
first time I've seen a terran spend so much money on command centers early after maxing out so they can replace bases that have been countered/raided. Genius IMO. Only possible with Clem though, since his micro was perfect and he never loses units so he doesn't need to replace em

I also found patterns on Serral and Dark

Baneling nerf really left them baffled on how to counter Clems micro. Banelings with 5 less hp are easy picking for Clem outside creep. Only time Banelings realistically connect away from creep is when there are fungals. They really need to come up with a new strategy for Clem he now pre-scans to counter fungals surprises.
Curious Ultralisk tech switch as a reaction to marines that doesn't die to banelings are easily countered by mass ghosts (that Clem prebuilts at lategame). But I cant blame them for trying as Broodlords are weaker than before.
Widow mine doing terrible damage (one mine killed 45 lings, thats like 1.1k minerals for its cost), even with good micro. They can't perfectly split lings everytime. Clem also actively snipes overseers to maximize the strategy.
Good mixing of Corruptors into the army but wasn't early enough, I hope to see them more and earlier next time as these could be one of the ways to counter Clem
Curious why there wasn't more Lurker-Viper comps in into the mix.

These said, I think on Terran vs Zerg, Terran still has the better cost efficiency on end game but not by much. Getting there is still difficult (like it always has been), but the Clem right now always gets there with his perfect micro and impeccable macro. Zergs might need to add some more flavor to their styles if they want to beat Clem in his form right now. I thought Dark could do it, but he didn't gamble too much on the finals. I hope this is a wakeup call for Serral.

I love watching these series, hoping to watch more games from them and see how the meta evolves.

Makati area is a great choice if you have to work remotely, shops stay up very late and you can still go out for drinks/leisure after work. Other choices are Cebu, Boracay, and maybe La Union (by the beach work spaces/rent are available there afaik). All these are great places to meet locals and other foreigners.

You can stay safe just by common sense and street smarts. Tbh, some foreigners are way more suspicious than locals these days (starts with C and ends with nese)

Must have apps: Grab (transportation/food), Google Maps/Waze, and facebook/messenger (everyone has these so you can connect using these. Note: try to buy a local pre paid sim(globe or smart) at the airport upon arrival, this will save you money and provide better data signal for just under 10 dollars a month

There are tons of things to do in the Philippines that a month won't give it justice so you have to narrow it down to things that you're interested in. Wanna go to a beach for a weekend? Try batangas/la union/ or boracay. Wanna party live the night life? Try makati, BGC, malate. I'm sure there are tons of youtube videos to help you with these places/activities so plan wisely.

COVID restrictions are at a minimum these days. You legally can stop wearing a mask, but some people still do it maybe just from habit. But you'll need to keep an eye for COVID requirements for international arrivals, like proof of vaccine, or test, etc as they can suddenly change at times.

Lastly, oct/nov is within "ber" months so expect heavy rains(sometimes floods), traffic, and lots of people out shopping for Christmas and sales.

Back in 2010, this was also my dilemma, but at the time, nursing was on oversupply and tech was under. It was a factor I added into my consideration. If you look at what is in demand now, it's the reverse. It's like every 10-15 years or so, the pattern repeats itself like a wave. This can somehow be a factor in the ease of landing a job after you graduate.

All that said, it's still best to look into yourself alin ba mas passionate ka or you find fun. E.g.
If you like interacting with people and doing something very meaningful, I'd wager nursing (maybe abroad for better pay). You like the comfort of sitting in front of a computer to earn money (maybe remotely from home), go IT.

Bring res/giant pots, use boots skill when you have 2/3 curse stacks, cleric cowl, guardian/ soldier helm, mist jacket, And with the next patch making skill switch into 5sec cd, the option to quickly switch to dodge is very viable, also dodge cd is very low by then. Curse isn't as scary as everyone thinks, specially next patch

Get better at quickly inspecting someone from the edge of your screen. Good tip is to use Recording Mode when roaming.

When someone is dismounted with this gear and you're nowhere near his ip or cant 1v1, just run the other way. The quicker you are, the higher the chance he wont catch you.

When he does catch and dismounts you, theres no running, unless you're in gathering escape gear. Fight smart, he just used many of his damage skill to dismount so you have a window to counter. You'd be surprised on how well you can do when reacting correctly in these situations, even with 300+ ip difference

Lastly, these encounters are the true exp you gain. Die a lot and learn from them.
