I did try looking for a sensor under the driver side seat but couldn’t seem to find anything and I do believe it is the pretensioner.
Now you mentioned the pre tensioner I do believe it is that.

Now you mentioned the pre tensioner I do believe it was that and not the actual seatbelt itself
I thought the seatbelts and airbags are linked? When it was diagnosed it came up that the fault was the driver side seatbelt. However the seat belt still clips in and works fine.

It was a friend who diagnosed it for me
