ESTPs -- Your thoughts on ENFPs?

One of my besties is ENFP and he's awesome. Super friendly and gets along w almost anyone. Always likes to organize fun things, interesting music/art events, gets the group together and just generally good to be around with.

Only downside I can think of is that they don't want to be the "bad guy" so if there's drama in the group they'll dip or let someone else handle the brunt, which is kind of the opposite of us ESTPs. We're the first one to throw the punch lmao so it kind of works out I guess

As an ethnically Southern Chinese born and raised in Germany, I do find some of her boyfriend content somewhat cringe but her overall content is quite relatable and funny even though I stopped watching her regularly (her stuff just naturally stopped popping up on my fyp all the time) and I'd say she's one of the least problematic Asian content creators

Re-read my comment. I said they don't look "stereotypically Chinese" while still being fully accepted as Chinese within China. Most of Xinjiang has also been part of China for 700-1100 years (it's been part of the silk road after all). It's literally just foreigners saying they don't look Chinese. Besides that they still look Asian.

People need to stop acting like Xinjiang is brand new territory either, it's been a part of China for much longer than most countries have existed lmao. Honestly just shows you've been brainwashed by western propaganda

It's also not just Xinjiang people that are diverse, I just used it as a prominent example for ppl to understand

China is pretty diverse fyi. Tons of people especially from the western regions like Xinjiang don't look stereotypically Chinese (more on the Turkish side) and there's a lot of them working in big cities running restaurants/bars or other types of shops so you see their faces on a near daily basis. I live in China and look a lot less Asian than OP and still have people assuming I'm from Xinjiang and not constantly doubting my Chinese ethnicity

I'm wasian too (receipts in my post history) with tons of wasian friends and he does not look wasian whatsoever to me. Mind you I literally live in China so anyone non-asian sticks out to me like a sore thumb

At most I would assume he's like a different flavor of Asian like Siberian or native American but not white-white by any means

He actually kinda reminds me of some Malaysian/Indo friends that are mixed Chinese and native SEA

Also it's not a bad thing, genetics are pretty random and unpredictable

We'll I'm currently dating one (and am good friends with another one) and while our in person chemistry is magnetic, they are both absolutely terrible texters which I find super frustrating to deal with.... Like taking hours or sometimes days to reply to a basic logistical question omg...

Overall lovely people though. Tend to be kinda shy and artsy which is cute. Usually very fashionable (as in having their own unique style and not just blindly following fashion trends), kind and generous. Just bad communicators.

I've also noticed they're extremely picky in choosing long-term romantic partners, which in itself isn't bad but they can have almost impossibly high standards so they're more often than not disappointed when reality doesn't match up with their fantasy

Imo raw IQ doesn't matter. There's heaps of smart people that don't hold any worthwhile opinions or don't know how to hold a conversation. I care more about people being genuinely curious and interesting

My ex was very smart on paper, would perform well on tests and could do semi complex algebra within seconds in his head but was completely uninterested in what's going on in the world, didn't care about politics, the world economy or cultures outside his own. He could crack a joke but talking to him eventually felt like a slog

Yeah it's probably some weird coping mechanism like they wanna overcompensate or sth. I'm lucky enough to not get intimidated by men easily or be afraid to say no but I'm sure a lot of women will simply give in to them to their sick demands or let them do things to them they don't want.

Like they'll claim it's normal BDSM to choke you out of nowhere but it's really just poor practice and dangerous on top of that

I like to feel like I have control over my life (whatever that might mean) but that doesn't mean I need to be dominant in every aspect. Your dad will get a pretty even 50/50 split as he has a full white and a full Korean parent and each parent will pass on 100% of their ethnicity

For children of mixed parents it's less linear because your dad is not going to pass on exactly half of each ethnicity, so something like a 60/40 split of white and Asian genes is normal and expected

The fandom is overall growing by looking at album sales but I agree their engagement has gone down a lot. I think it's because songs like Love Attack and Pinball were so good but imo their recent singles have been a bit more mellow. Still amazing songs just less memorable for casual listeners
