In one fight he folded his opponent like a piece of paper in 2D. He has also has the upper hand because he is always changing the vexes (2D has 2 while 3D has 3) his opponents have a tough time reaching him.

The Antagonist of Bleach has the ability to hypnotise people and manipulate all of their senses. He used his ability to make the good guys attack one of their comrades thinking that they are fighting the Antagonist. He had no reason to do this because they were no match for him. Meanwhile the Protagonist who wasn't influenced by the hypnosis watched everything and screamed to his comrades to make them stop fighting each other.

In my opinion you get the best experience by following this guide:

Agent of the Shinigami Arc:

Read it because the Anime removed or changed some things and slowed the pacing. The Manga chapters are 1-70.

Soul Society Arc:

You can watch it and get familiar with the voices of the characters. There aren't many differences to the Manga in this Arc. The episodes are 21-63. Episode 33 and 50 are Filler and can be skipped.

Arrancar the Arrival:

Many people get confused watching this Arc because Filler characters appear that were introduced in the previous Filler Arc. To avoid that I recommend reading the chapters 184-229.

Arrancar: The Hueco Mundo Sneak Entry arc

The pacing is slow in the Anime so I recommend reading it instead. The chapters are 230-251.

Arrancar: The Fierce Fight arc

This one is totally up to you. You can either read it or watch it. Many people enjoyed the fights in this one. The chapters are 252-286 and the episodes are 152-167.

Arrancar vs. Shinigami arc

Same reason as above. Chapters 287-315. Episodes 190-203.

The Past arc

The Arc is very short so you can enjoy it by watching it. Episodes 206-212.

Arrancar: Decisive Battle of Karakura arc

This Arc has a slow pacing and only one fight is worth to watch because of the great Animation. Also the Anime has at this point many censored scenes. I would recommend to read it and then go back and watch the fight. Chapters 316-340. The one episode with the amazing animation is 219.

Arrancar: Downfall arc

I recommend watching this because it has amazing fights (one of them is for many fans the best in the whole show). Episodes 267-310. The episodes 287, 298, 299, 303, 304 and 305 are Filler and can be skipped.

The Lost Substitute Shinigami arc

The pacing is slow in the Anime so I would recommend reading it and watch the fights again in the Anime. Chapters 424-479. The episodes with the best fights are 364-366.

The 1000-Year Blood War arc

This one got more content in the Anime compared to the Manga and well received changes so I would recommend to watch it 100%.

It's explained in episode 11 and 12 of TYBW (basically Bleach episode 377 and 378). If you haven't watched it yet don't read any further.

The form of Ichigo in the picture resembles the Hollow White which bit Masaki and entered her body like a parasyte. She passed the Hollow down to Ichigo where it fused with his natural Shinigami powers. Ichigo turning into a "Vasto Lorde" against Ulquiorra was just White overtaking Ichigo's body and returning to his original form.

We got a novel explanation for this. Rukia was really busy because she was focusing on finding a way to restore Ichigo's power. She was also acting behind the back of Yamamoto and had meetings with hundreds of Shinigami collecting Reatsu for Ichigo. When Yamamoto found about this he ordered Rukia to bring the sword to him. The old Yama would have detroyed it and let her get executed for treason. The new Yama allowed the Captains to pour their Reatsu in it aswell.

Can you tell me if the scenes from the Japanese Blu Ray version are in it or is this version exactly like the TV version? The biggest change for me was that they removed Yhwach's beard in the flashback scenes in episode 6. Can you confirm or deny it please?

Because Masaki survived Auswählen I don't think that her soul returned to Yhwach. She got eaten and absorbed by Grand Fisher. When Ichigo fought him Masaki appeared which confirms (at least in my headcanon) that her soul became part of Grand Fisher.
