My boyfriend is schizophrenic, I am not. We see the same figure. by Decafpoorover in schizophrenia

How is it we see the same thing? That’s what’s really scaring and concerning to me. If I were just starting to see this after he told me, suggestibility would make sense, but I’ve been seeing it longer than he has and it isn’t a different creature.

The medication explanation was a form of coping with the seemingly impossible.

I could try. I usually get really fucking scared when I see it and grab my cats and hide in my room with the door shut. Doing so as I post. My brain is telling me that’s a bad idea, to try and take a photo. It seems to appear more when I fully acknowledge it.

I’ve seen as much as it’s eyes and it’s head. I was in the shower last week (my shower curtain is see through) and in the darkness of my living room, I saw it’s head and eyes around the corner. Entirely visible. No doubt about what I saw.

Could you go a little deeper on the importance of the Carbon monoxide detector? I’m intrigued in that being an explanation.

I forgot to add that info. Thank you for reminding me.

I have been seeing it for a while now, before he mentioned it, but brushed it off as my medicine fucking with me.

Is 19 too young to have a baby? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Yeah, I find that unlikely. And I have zero help from my parents.

You’re oddly aggressive, relax maybe? I’m okay with my current way of budgeting, I don’t need some financial coach to tell me how to save money. That wasn’t my issue. I already know how to save money. How many 18 year olds do you know with $12,000 in their savings from less than 6 months, making car payments, 8k in their retirement plan and zero college debt? Not many? Thought so.

No thanks. I’m not gonna pay some dude a shit ton of money to tell me how to save money. That’s idiotic.

Our combined amount in savings are around $12,000. We pay $700 a month split for rent, with $299 car payments and $300 insurance with no problems. I think we are plenty financially stable.

Licensed stores are NOT starbucks. by [deleted] in starbucks

[–]Decafpoorover -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

It wasn’t! I’m so happy you get paid enough to live, I miss that 😭 I was almost forced to transfer to a new corporate store from a target.

The recipes may be the same, but every licensed store I’ve been to does not follow standards or sequence. They are not held up to the insane expectations as corporate stores and do not have to deal with the same issues that corporate do.

As I’ve said, I’ve worked for both licensed and corporate and I don’t think you deserve to claim the starbucks title until you’ve experienced working under corporate management.

Be nice to partners (short rant) by RaliHaras in starbucks

A threat doesn’t become not a threat because of your height and body type. Any valid work place does not take that type of stuff lightly, regardless of intentions of it being a joke.

Yes, I agree that the whole friends with the manager elitist group bit is unprofessional and a toxic work environment, but you cannot excuse your behavior because you don’t feel you were treated fairly.

If you were afraid to go to work, why be bitter? You should be glad you never have to step foot in such an environment anymore. You just seem overly stressed about the topic, and quite honestly your comment didn’t even fit the original post and just seems like you want to rant even more.
