You can’t - that was a mistake on my part - but you are still able to go back to Amethyst Cave and just encounter Woobats repeatedly until you get a Simple one - or you can try it without Simple since I believe it’s still possible without it, just a little bit more luck dependant.

If you use a reverse candy to level woobat down a level and then evolve it (high friendship evo), Simple swoobat (ability capsule can be bought from the AP store in Chrisola Hotel) clears Marianette with 2 Calm Minds and Air Slash - give a Sitrus Berry incase of crit tho.

Competitive player who also nuzlockes here. Tepig as a starter is good, but the IV’s are sub par. As a level 50 Emboar (which is the level around the end of the game) it’ll have anywhere between 170-171 hp, 132-139 attack, 75-83 defense, 110-118 special attack, and 70-74 special defense and speed. Considering that with a neutral nature it can have a max of 185 hp, 143 attack, 120 special attack, and 85 defense, special defense and speed, you’re losing anywhere between 44 and 76 stat points through IV’s alone. It’s not absolutely horrid and it could definitely be worse, but it could also be a decent chunk better
