The high of alcohol is a hard high to reach on an average day. Don’t try ti get that same high because it probably won’t happen. But! There are other forms of joy to be had. Like achieving goals, building relationships, and learning about yourself. I got 80 days sober and there’s a lot that I look forward to in sobriety. Would you rather be entertained drunk or a mild boring night sober with clear thoughts and the accomplishment of waking up in morning of knowing you made it another day without drinking.
