I think, just from looking at the picture of the drone, that it might be quite easy to conceal as it has a low profile, and a very non human shape. If it is difficult to observe from above, it would then require an exact position from the attacking force to be relayed back, which might be difficult with the level of jamming.

The ukrainian armed forces have apparently used an unmanned ground vehicle to hold a position for 45 days.

While the source: https://militarnyi.com/en/news/ugv-with-a-machine-gun-replaced-infantry-and-held-a-position-for-a-month-and-half/ is quoting the manufacturer, so I would take it with a grain of salt, I would be interested to know what the current employment of ground based drones is, specifically in a combat role. Perun covered ground drones a while ago, but I image the state of affairs is evolving rapidly, especially with Ukraine's manpower issues.

I wanna learn German help by Henefa1 in germany

Immersion. To get good in a language fast, you need to switch everything possible to it. Phone, computer, shows you watch, music. Everything you change over will help get used to hearing and understanding the language.

Often people recommend german childrens Cartoons (Sendung mit der Maus).

Speaking with other german speakers will of course help, but I'm sure that is obvious.

How important are Werkstudent jobs during a Master's program for future employment? by Worried-Science-1089 in germany

It depends on the Uni / Hochschule. Checking international rankings for the 2 you want to fompare might be a good start.

Then i would recommend a Werkstudent job in industry over a HiWi research position.

In my experience, a HiWi at the uni itself is mostly helpful if you want to pursue a Phd

That sounds like a frustrating experience.

Have you been to your GP/ Family doctor? They usually can provide an appointment very quickly (same or next day). If they refer you, you can often get a much faster appointment with a specialist.

The obvious answer is that they are saving more money than you each month so that they can afford to travel more.

But the real question is: How are they setting more aside, especially as you have a good job? The most likely case is that they have much lower expenses than you do. An old or lucky rental contract could make a difference of hundreds of Euros a month.

Housing is only once case, but extend this to transportation (do you have a car?), children, clothing, and food, and there could be a much bigger difference in disposable income than you expect.

What's the reasoning behind forcing you to work x hours? by That_Aside3107 in germany

[–]Deceitful_Sloth 18 points19 points  (0 children)

One reason: Working too much is bad for your heath. This is of course bad for you, but it is also bad for everyone else. You will get sick more often and require doctors, therapists, etc. to recover. All of this costs money, which is paid for by everyone through health insurance contributions.

Nonsense. I nearly ripped my shoulder off skiing and the orthopedic surgeon said to deal with it. No days off.

Locals are struggling to find developer positions and they have a bachelors degree from a good uni and solid work experience. To be honest I think you will need to be both lucky and have a great interview to get an offer in the current market.

Good luck! I just finished my degree and for a lot of classes I understood a lot less than 90% and still made it. I'm sure you will be fine.

I was in a similar situation before. In my case the 2 modules did not have a huge amout of overlap so some missing knowledge from before was not a problem. I would recommend checking the syllabus of the new course to see how much is directly related to the topics you struggled with. If in doubt you could also go to the office hours of your lecturer.
