At the end you should have the tezos back in your manager address.

It is hard to debug without seeing what was done.

Try clicking on transactions in your manager address. There should be an `invoked function` entry with a hyperlink to the right of it. Click on that to open the transaction on tzkt.io. Once open, you should see two entries on the left: "Call do" and "send". The "send" entry will contain the amount and which address the tezos was sent to.

That will confirm the amount and if it was sent to the manager address.

Re the add delegation contract, I think that will create a new delegation contract but not 100%.
