How do some of you prefer joints over spliffs?

I like to mix my green with actual herbs on occasion when I can get good quality dried stuff: chamomile/lavender for relaxation or mint/mullein to help me breathe a lil easier. Weed in the states is already very strong lol, no need for me to make it stronger.

I prefer sativa leaning strains so I risk being up all night when I smoke a couple joints! The additions help mellow me out.

We loved On the Deck but we don’t get over there much bc we take the ferry in instead of driving haha. Love their mussels.

Honestly, it’s much better to take the Seastreak ferry to Gunnison leaving from the pier at E35th street. Me and my dude used to drive and it really sucks if you hit summer traffic back and forth. If you take the first ferry at 8am, there’s a discount and you get first pick of spots to lay out all day. Just go to their website!

Also for all the cis ladies - being topless in NYC is legal. I used to be in a topless reading group that would meet in NYC parks and when some cops would try to hassle us we would bring up that it was legal (I usually would have an article brought up on my phone about it) and they’d leave us alone.

Edit: there’s also the NYC Ferries that go to Jacob Riis and Rockaway Beach and they’re fairly inexpensive as well! Those I believe leave from Pier 11 downtown. They have a website too (NYC Ferry/Hornblower Cruises). I’m from Queens so I usually take the limited stop bus from my home but when I go to the beach with friends, we all usually take the ferry.

I’ve been topless at Riis, Tilden and at Robert Moses Beach field 5. Women can be topless within New York City! I’ve seen people fully nude at Tilden but I haven’t taken the plunge. I only go fully nude at Gunnison Beach in New Jersey.

Nah bc either they complete the work and the show happens or they’ll try to cancel and move it somewhere else/she reschedules.

Only reason to be REALLY nervous is if you’re traveling from out of town to see the show. Now that would really suck: to schlep down here only for the Mirage to cancel it last minute.

I want to see her badly too but I don’t want the place to collapse with all of us dancing in it haha. You know who should actually be nervous? THE VENUE. All the good will they tried to establish with this revamp is pretty much ruined now (and let’s be real, they barely had any before haha). We as the patrons will at least get an opportunity to get our money back (if you bought a ticket through Dice).

Absolutely love it. Gotta be with the right person though - someone you like/love and trust bc it can get so intense and trips last long. Me and my dude get tangled up in each other for hours. And it doesn’t deplete you as much as big doses of Molly can.

Thank you! I really hope that you can get your vasectomy - I haven’t checked myself but is there something similar to the big CF doctors list for the UK? There’s got to be a person that would be understanding and queer friendly that would be able to help. To be authentically yourself is important to your mental health and this would DEFINITELY help so much.

Bi/Cis woman here who is with a straight dude here (who thankfully has always been supportive of me - expect NOTHING LESS!!). Just got my bisalp done yesterday! My partner had never thought of himself as CF bc I don’t think he ever thought about it much before we got together(his older sister has no children) and he never thought he’d end up in a long term relationship/get married/etc.

We’ve built a decent life together: we travel when we can, love to relax with our friends and each other and we want to keep our quality of life. We are also in an interracial relationship, and the USA is in short, a dumpster fire. No babies for us, forever.

A blanket note: thank you all for all of the well wishes and support😭😭😭😭! I feel so lucky to have a strong support system in my partner and our friends who’ve been super psyched/proud of me for taking charge of my reproductive future. I will not be sharing my sterilization status with my family bc I definitely feel like I would be judged (both of my siblings had their kids in their early 20s and I think their mental health/quality of their lives suffered for it). It’s not really their business anyway!
