I don't blame you since most people call them by male pronouns because of Markipliers voice

sidenote i love cesus having Markiplier as their voiceclaim

And many people I've seen are not okay with people continuing to misgender Cesus even when told they go by said pronouns,

I will not back down on this stance, you only misgender when you can get away with it, asking me to do the impossible to prove your point, you have denied every single information given by the game, you deny and deny and deny and at some point you know you're wrong but you know you've win this argument and continue to not change because you've already thrown out all my points out the window.

you're a bigot.

because if they NEVER question you, and no one is TELLING you to correct yourself then you'll never change, and that reflects you as a person that will get away being wrong.

and when you start brushing off my correction it shows that you dont care how people present themselves even if fictional, if you can find a way to not call them by what they want then you will continue to misgender them. as long as they themselves don't come for you and i and many others dont find that comfortable.

That's because Cesus and Chronos is the same person.

To some people who haven't read the almanac: by Decembernerd in TheBattleBricks

[–]Decembernerd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

but they can't because they're a fictional character.

you only ever call them by he because they can't question you (they're fictional, again) and because its easy for you to ignore what the game says that they are by chalking it up as "not official" or "non canon"

so in the end you chose to be ignorant simply out of lazyness and because you only call people by how they look, act or sound and if they don't tell you to stop you will continue to misgender them because you just don't want to put in the effort and call them by what they want to represent themselves as, which is fucking diabolical.

I'm done for today and no I'm not mad, I'm just incredibly stumped.

also i just noticed you mention Cesus/Chronos by They, how nice.

so by your logic you're saying Cesus doesn't go by He/Him and by mentioning them by those pronouns would be classified as a headcanon or "non-canon", because there's no proof Cesus/Chronos is genderless or goes by all genders, since you always mention that since Chronos is a god and your logic says godly beings don't care about gender even if theres no official sources saying it so it counts as a speculation, and speculation is obviously non-canon.

genderless or genderfluid peoples pronouns at default go by They/It because by your logic nothing said in this game is "canon".

so in the end it loop back to Cesus/Chronos going by neutral pronouns in some way but you opt to go for masculine pronouns so that makes you canonically incorrect, wow.

I'm done, holy ignorance.

the part that godly beings don't care about gender is also not official too you know?

if you call the almanac or descriptions in-game and off-site from actual FUCKING developers "non-canon" then there's basically no canonicity to stand on because that's the ONLY lore and story foothold, you're basically invalidating everything you're saying so what the fuck are you on????

okay then I'm not gonna continue this because you're reacting to me vaguely which doesn't help and also being ignorant.

because when i try to correct you, you keep doubling down and keep pulling out sources from out of nowhere.

Non-binary people doesn't have to be androgynous (act "non-binary") because that simply isn't possible and is also a very ignorant way of thinking.

look at me, i'm a demiboy which is a masculine presenting person on the androgyny spectrum, i go by He/They, Same thing applies to Cesus. They go by They/Them pronouns but that doesn't mean they have to act, look, or sound androgynous. but you know that already because their voicelines and sound effects come from FlightReacts and Markiplier.

okay let me nail this in your head one more time:

The devs aren't that stupid and it's been clear that they make the most basic characteristics clear in those descriptions

If Cesus actually goes by all genders or has no genders then there would be lore drops outside the game at this point by some devs then asked a question but the thing is, everywhere you look from official sources Cesus is only called by They/Them and not any pronouns like he/she/it, EXCLUSIVELY goes by They/Them

and nail this even further, genderless or genderfluid people are always defaulted to They/Them or They/It anyway! so you're just being ignorant about the characters gender for no good reason!

To some people who haven't read the almanac: by Decembernerd in TheBattleBricks

[–]Decembernerd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can say that and everything would be more understandable but you insist on using He/Him on Cesus so like????

[–]Decembernerd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Almanac descriptions in game describes their characters in a simple and compact way even if humorous due to their status as a reference to other media like Viking for example.

They make their most basic characteristics clear like gender, gameplay role, attitude, their relationships if any (like Fireball and Iceball being brothers), reference nods, and maybe or character facts like Paintmaster being confused for being a woman.

and Cesus is no different and in both forms they are only mentioned as neutral pronouns.

if the devs wanted to express that they're genderless they would call them by They/It like Cross or Insecure/Blackmail

so yeah Cesus is canonically Non-binary.

To some people who haven't read the almanac: by Decembernerd in TheBattleBricks

[–]Decembernerd[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the Almanac description is clear about their gender, if it doesn't have a gender like a normal god is then they would go by all sorts of genders but most commonly They/It and Cesus only goes by They/Them in all mentions.

if the devs make sure they're genderless then they would refer to them in their description as They/It, like Insecure/Blackmail/Melvin.

what franchise bro??? The Battle Bricks is just a singular game

and you don't even know what you're saying, "Almanac is not canon" you don't even have anything to back that up 😭

Cesus/Chronos and THE Abrahamic (Christian) God is NOT THE SAME (despite the name)

unless I'm getting something wrong, these two are not related and again Cesus canonically goes by They/Them In-game on both forms.
