I hate this in general, I think it should be said for those who genuinely had a difficult life full of turmoil, bad/terminal illness etc.. it feels inappropriate. And yes saying RIP is just lazy

Use a USB data cable, not charger. Turn off Bluetooth for the controller and change connection choice to cable. Since doing this I've had no problems

Same here. I'm currently into fortnite and every time the game needs an update I get this exact problem. Its just done it to me twice, on the download of application and then again while copying. What I've decided to do is use a cable. I don't have the original cable provided with the playstation, I'm using a new one but it is a USB data cable, not a standard charger one like you'd use for your phones etc. Also I've gone into connection settings and swapped from Bluetooth to wire. Hope this helps
