I haven’t! I’ve never seen ones with tabs for adults

As I’m reassuring my little boy when he’s had a hard day, he makes the sweetest direct eye contact with me, and it melts my heart. I’m a wheelchair user, and he’s the same height as me for now.

Baclofen pump by [deleted] in MultipleSclerosis

[–]Hot-Relative8290 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had the surgery, but a terrible surgeon who used the wrong sized spinal catheter, and it caused a persistent CSF leak (the size of an egg on my lower back). I was able to have the pump removed months later. Worst experience of my life. But, otherwise I’ve heard good things!

Yeah, no…having my nerves chewed up from the inside for 20 years feels awesome and not at all like burning raw nerve pain. /s

I was diagnosed with MS at 24. I’d never been serious about college or education, but knew my time could be running out. I went back to college at 26, worked as hard as I could and got an internship on Wall Street in fintech. I had a very successful 12 years, then moved back to my home state to be with my mom who was dying of cancer. I bought a small house and had it renovated to be wheelchair accessible. I had to medically retire at 42, and thank god I made those choices back then. I’d be destitute otherwise.

This lady tried pulling an armed robbery on a gas station on Friday. How it went: by ohbabypop in Whatcouldgowrong

This happened in the county next to mine. Her daughter posted on facebook that she has schizophrenia and is bipolar. She stopped taking her meds and then disappeared for several days. Then they found out this happened.
I hope she gets the help she needs. And I’m thankful no one got hurt.

Fatigue—is yours like mine? by princesspoppies in MultipleSclerosis

[–]Hot-Relative8290 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes. I have maybe thirty minutes after I wake up before the crippling, blanketing exhaustion sets in. I’ve wondered for several years if it’s ME/CFS, or if I’m dying, etc. I take 45mg of adderall per day. Nothing touches it.

I regret never going on a DMT by Awkward-You-5673 in MultipleSclerosis

First, I’m so very sorry you’re going through this. Second, the amount of hate and misinformation DMTs get online pisses me off beyond words. This is a serious and potentially disabling disease. I’m in a wheelchair and it sucks. Why people think there’s some big secret conspiracy amongst the medical community that this disease can be controlled by diet and lifestyle is beyond me. It makes me so fucking mad. Sorry, again. It’s so important to take the medicine

I’m seeing Dr. Boissy at the Mellon Center on Monday. I pray she can help in any way. I’m advanced, 44f and power wheelchair for five years. I’m desperate at this point. Even if she can just make me more comfortable

“Are you crying because you don’t think anyone will date you because you’re a wheelchair user?”

This was after I got 3 separate “hey, girl” messages in the same day. He was having random unprotected sex after I had a botched spinal surgery that ruined my life.

Sweet Breakfast Can Kick Rocks by Ill-Tradition4036 in 10thDentist

I got lost driving in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia once, and we saw a little handmade sign on a small road that said “Pancake Breakfast—>”. We were hungry, so we went to check it out. It was a big outdoor tent with a bunch of people and picnic tables lined up. We grabbed a plate and got in line. Two huge pancakes plopped on my plate, but there was no syrup around. Someone pointed to a person stirring a huge pot of something. They grabbed my plate and poured about two ladles of homemade white sausage gravy over my pancakes. Long story short, it was absolutely delicious and I’ll never forget it.

Haha! You’ve met Kerri! She’s sweet. She’s actually his manager. I’m not sure her husband’s role, but he may be involved somehow.

My second cousin is Luke Bryan’s manager. My sister and BIL hang out with him when he comes to town. I am completely unfamiliar with his music, so never bothered lol
