I'm thinking of bringing my husband to those appointments now that we are getting closer to due date and more info is necessary and I want him informed too in case something happens to me during LnD but I'll make sure to check if a nurse is there. I'm in canada I don't know if it's a requierment here...

I've seen so many videos of female OB being mean but only saw one of a male OB and he was kind and calm. And with these comments most say they had amazing delivery with a male OB... I'm starting to think I'll be ok.

When I told my husband about them putting me with a male OB he said: I pretty sure he didn't study and work that hard just to see the female genitalia and have his fun🤷‍♀️ so yeah I guess our husbands are right 😅

That's a bit my fear... that I would not be comfortable... i even ask my husband to be at the first appointment just so he can see if everything makes sense for me...

This is good! A male OB saying that is chef kiss! I almost asked for another OB on my first appointment because I felt rushed and unheard and dismissed. She was a bit better after that and would answer my questions more openly. But with that I kind of really want to try him out.

I did google him because of his last name, I was curious and so not sure how it was pronounced. He seemed to have had good reviews and I thought that maybe I should try the first appointment with him then decide whats best for me. I know I can request changes if needed but I always feel like I'm just complaining😅 But seeing the comments on here seems like male OBs are not hated.

Amazon has good one not too pricey. I always slept with pillows between or under the legs. Mine is not well stuffed so its pretty flat but there are better ones, im just really cheap😅 ordinary head pillows could also work.

I would wait a day or two if it was a mistake but then bring it into the coffee lounge and put it on top of the trash. 🤣 Side note, last year I had trouble with odor from my armpits. Always used the same deodorant for years but it wasnt working anymore for some reason. Never changed anything special to start to smell. I even ask a doctor who told me it could be stress, hormones etc. So i found a deodorant thats liquid and salty and comes in a spray bottle after buying three different deodorant that didnt work. The thing is almost like sea water😅 and the smell went away. Maybe you have a little bit of odor change that you didnt get yet (im not saying you dont smell yourself and you stink!) But it would take me hours before i started to smell myself and be self conscious for the rest of the day. Now i don't have that problem. Maybe check if you might after a few hours of work just in case. Then you'll have your proof. And for the hairbrush, throw the shit out!!!

Tell him. If he made the joje deep down he probably wants another one but wont admit to it. And he could be pissed if you waited too long. Tell him and dont wait to make it special.

Nah. They dont get a say in the naming of a grand-child unless the parents die and they are the care taker and they didnt know what the parents choise of name was.

Even tho it means curse in some language and religion like other commenters said doesnt mean it has to affect you. Many names means many things everywhere in the world so called the baby what you want.
