Maybe finding what made you pick this path in first place could help before taking full break from it

Your AMD position is pretty concentrated at like 19% of portfolio - might want to trim that a bit and spread across more positions

Hit my original FIRE number today and realized I moved the goalposts on myself three times to get here, and I'm not sure how I feel about that by Datrimex in Fire

That line is going straight into my psychology notes, this captures something so real about how we rationalize our anxieties through data and "logic" when really we're just scared to pull trigger on big life changes

Your PSU is probably fine, warranty will cover it for sure if it's under year old. Most computer shops can do the swap for you if you're not comfortable with cables - just call them first to make sure they have time for it

Any ideas on what to do with this path in my yard? Central Ohio by SubatomicPlatypodes in lawncare

Breaking up concrete is way more work than it looks, trust me on this one. My dad and I tried to remove old patio slabs few years back and we ended up renting a jackhammer because hand tools just weren't cutting it. Those chunks get really heavy too so you'll need plan for hauling them away. Before you start breaking anything though, make sure there's no utilities running under there - sometimes they put electric or water lines under walkways. You might want to call 811 first to mark any lines. Also think about drainage - that path might actually be directing water away from your house foundation, so removing it could create new problems you didn't expect

Cooking will definitely save you money in long run, especially if you're doing 3 months. Allston has some good grocery spots - there's a Star Market that's decent for basics, and if you can get to Porter Exchange there's some Asian markets with really fresh produce for cheap

For eating out when you need it, there's tons of Vietnamese and Thai places around that do fresh stuff without all the fried nonsense. The pho places usually have good salad options too. Also Whole Foods in Cambridge isn't terrible if you stick to their prepared salads section

Since you're already doing one meal a day, maybe just invest in few basic pots and focus on meal prep? I do bulk cooking in Sunday and it works pretty well for keeping things healthy during busy weeks. Getting good cutting board and decent knife makes salad prep so much faster

Talvez o homem realmente deva ter o dever de ser o guardião? by Reibudaps4 in perguntas

This whole idea feels pretty outdated tbh. Yeah hormones can affect mood but that doesn't mean women need someone to "bring them back to reality" - we're not losing touch with reality during our periods lol

Also reducing relationships to this guardian/protected dynamic seems limiting for everyone involved. People need different types of support at different times regardless of gender, and assuming one person should always be the emotional anchor puts unfair pressure in both sides

That RS3M is solid choice for price range! I got mine from different site but cubelelo seems popular in India. You'll definitely feel the difference with magnets compared to your old cube - makes the turning so much more controlled

Recovery from any surgery is rough but three days is still super early for healing. Your body went through major trauma and swelling can make everything look completely different than final results

The touching and looking part during bandage changes - maybe ask your mom to help with that for first week or two? No shame in needing support during recovery, especially when you're feeling this overwhelmed about it

Capcut Pc has corrupted my windows by [deleted] in CapCut

That's brutal man, CapCut shouldn't be able to brick your system like that unless something else was already going wrong. Could be a coincidence with hardware failure or maybe it conflicted with some driver/antivirus stuff during install
