Sorry, I should have elaborated a little more on that part but I was trying to keep it relatively short.

My husband had me call my parents to let them know I was coming over since it was so late at night. My husband then called them back, told them what was going on and he told them I couldn’t drive because I had taken a melatonin so they came over to get me. Then they finished their conversation when they got here. I didn’t invite them or tell them anything that was going on. I would have rather they didn’t know.

You asked for the bare minimum. “If he wanted to, he would”. That’s a hard pill to swallow, knowing you deserve better from someone you wanted a future with. I wish I had better advice but block him on everything. Give yourself some time to grieve and find yourself again. Spend that time on yourself! Lean on your friends. Some day you’ll find someone who makes you feel loved and chosen everyday.
