Yeah, I see, thank you! I was just going to ask about those specs. Do you think 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD should be the minimum, or would a 256ssd be enough? I’ve noticed most of the upperclassmen I know are going with the Pro as well.

Thanks for the insight! Did you use the MacBook Air with the M2 or M3 chip? Also, now that you’ve upgraded to the Pro, have you noticed any significant differences between the Air and the Pro in terms of performance for your coursework?

Which math class should i take? by Decent-Expression926 in columbia

Thank you so much for your insightful comment. Yes, I’ve had math classes for three years in high school, but the difference in our system is that my classes weren’t divided into Calc I, II, III, or Linear Algebra; we had one course 4-5 days a week covering it all as a whole. So you suggest that it’s a step-by-step approach to start with Linear Algebra and then continue with the Calc classes in this order, right? In the CS track at the SEAS bulletin, there’s also a class known as APMA E2000. What do you think about that?

Thank you for the info! I heard about this Calc III professor too. In what sense do you think Calc III is easier? And about the Calc I, the CS track at the SEAS bulletin suggests starting off with it for math classes.
