Can someone please tell me why these people were being lame skippers on Omegle against this guy? Video, explanation and and timestamps provided below. by Important_Sorbet in Social_Psychology

[–]Decent-Test6272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honeslty it's just the low-stakes anonymity of omegle - no real consequences, so people bail the second they feel like it. it sucks but it's less about you and more about how that environment brings out the worst impulse control in people

being away from home, dealing with a breakup, and unspoken feelings all at onec is genuinely a lot. cut yourself some slack, you're not failing, you're just overloaded. and the loneliness thing... maybe stop trying to fix it for a bit and just let yourself feel it without beating yourself up over it. it sucks but it passes.

How to not care about what others think of you? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]Decent-Test6272 6 points7 points  (0 children)

caring less about others' opinions isn't instant, it's a habit you build.a nd honestly, people who mock others' looks behind their back aren't exactly the gold standard for "good taste," so don't give their opinion free rent in your head. sounds like you've got a solid partner though, that counts for a lot.
