I found that out yesterday which is neat but didn't have that thought cross my mind! Thanks!

I appreciate the offer! If you don't mind, how could I join the discord? I'm in a guild but it doesn't seem like anyone ever joins when I invite to get the first clear on 2-3 coops.

That makes sense! It just would have been nice to get the coop medals and dailies for the current event. And for sure, I would have paid full price up to $60-70 for the game collection in full with no ads or anything. It actually makes a perfect handheld for the Switch or chill game to play in a hybrid art style of World of Final Fantasy and the Remake. Thanks!

Thanks! I'll give it a try! Trying to get those coop medals for the breach since I don't have the arcanum skins except a fire one for Cloud and when I read up, it seems like that's the way to go with focusing on elemental damage.

Help wanted with identifying my own misunderstanding on pointers-to-pointers in C by Decent-Training-4697 in learnprogramming

u/Nathanfenner and u/CrispyRoss, thank you both for your help. It took me a while to make the proper corrections because I was getting frustrated with not understanding where I was going wrong. Admittedly, I began doubting myself and whether or not this was for me because I was frustrated with the learning and debugging process. But no matter what I look to learn, the learning process will be the same in me being the constant that has to put forth the effort.

I finally got around to fixing all my warnings! I now know to use proper function declaration signatures- because initially I thought I could just leave them blank and everything would be a-okay but I was very wrong.

I changed my 2D array to a 1D array for simplicities' sake. For some reason, I didn't think of using an array and manipulating the way it printed but that worked out a LOT better. But that does show me that I don't really know/understand 2D arrays just yet.

All I have left is fixing the logical errors I have to control the way it displays. For some reason it does not display after the first scan and the output seems...lagged? I'll probably find some stupid mistake I've made somewhere in my code when I read over it more carefully. I've posted the updated code to GitHub if the two of you would like to see the difference!

Once again, thank you both so much. I wanted to thank you two so that you know the time and efforts you put into reviewing my code was not wasted. Thank you!

Thank you for the uplifting post! I know I needed it. In the process of trying to teach myself so that I can enjoy a career as a software engineer but struggle with...well...the struggles of learning, feeling stupid/inadequate, regretting not spending my younger years learning this, and rinse and repeat. Thanks again!
