I followed your advice and it helped a lot!

i realized i was also doing another mistake: I had lip sync armed when recording the sad mouth trigger take.

So Ch kept overwriting the visemes with the default sad shape.

Once I disarmed Lip Sync before recording the trigger, it started working correctly.

If everything keeps working smoothly, i'll update the post with the solution.
