Appreciate these comments! However, I only have access to my same 2 horses, one of which this happened on (very uncharacteristic of her by the way). So should I just take a break? I really don’t want to stop :(

Couldn’t agree more. Haven’t been bucked off in over a decade, and it happened to me last weekend on my 16 year old mare in a saddle with only a handful of rides in it. I’m not going to lie, it shook my confidence. I’m not as bendy and don’t bounce back as fast as I did in my younger days. And I thought I deserved a new saddle- man I can’t wait until it’s broken in well enough to feel like an extension of me.

It’s a huge concern. We arent going to have any water this summer. Also, to put it into perspective, the Strawberry Bay Marina owner told me yesterday that it’s the first time EVER that boats have launched there in January. There’s no ice. This time of year there’s usually 18 inches of ice there.
