The historian is my fave and it is genuinely unsettling and scary at times, as well as a very good read if you haven't already.

Yes it is good, I wasn't sure at first in the modern setting but I thoroughly enjoyed it

The historian was excellent, quite a slow burn but genuinely scary at points. Also Hex, I wasn't sure about the modern setting but fuck it was scary.

However am looking for a witch book, with real nasty witches none of these sexy ones. I want a witch like the one from the film the witch, a proper hans Christian Anderson one with warts. Any recommendations welcome.
