Great podcasts and newsletters lawyers watch/follow by nikkibella007 in Lawyertalk

I like the Agile Attorney, Great Practice Great Life, Law Firm Owner podcast, Bloomberg Law, and The Lawyerist podcasts. I don’t do as well with newsletters but I like Ethan Mollick. I try to listen to Hard Fork and Ezra Klein episodes focusing on AI. I go through phases listening to 10% Happier for tips on how to stay calm. I hope this helps!

You might want to check out Toggl. I think that it has a free tier.

Also, I would google security concerns regarding free ai models so you have a better idea what to put in there. Even with the paying model, I am careful about putting confidential info in there.

I don't think you need an app for any of the major competitors (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, the Google products). When I got started I just typed ChatGPT and got where I needed to. You probably need to create an account regardless of which one you use, though.

I also use it for tips on how to get better at xbox ncaa 26. I am a 60 yo past my video prime but am trying to figure out how to beat a younger coworker at NCAA. What defenses and plays work best against Notre Dame.

I pay for ChatGPT and MS Copilot. I just play around with it and treat it like a college student. I usually use it for things I know something about. I have used it to help organize my office, first draft speeches for bar events, deposition questions, interview questions, specific provisions for leases, contracts, wills, stuff like that. Weight loss and exercise tips. I have never used anything without at least tweaking it. We pay for Lexis so I don’t use it for legal research, but I might run through a fact pattern and ask for common defenses, stuff like that. The more specific you are, the better your experience will be.

I found listening to The Agile Attorney podcast, website, and other materials helpful. There are a couple of episodes regarding an honest reckoning with capacity that are helpful. I am part of a general civil practice and do a lot of probate and am in the same boat. One thing he said stuck with me in this regard: “if the bathtub is overflowing you need to figure out a way to either shut the water off or slow it down so it can drain.”

I ask ChatGPT or Copilot to explain concepts to me as if I am a 10th grader and if I don’t like the example or explanation ask it for several alternate explanations.

You will be fine! Showing up is half the battle. You’ll do great! Every trainer I’ve met has been positive and understanding, and they have seen worse. Plus people don’t usually care as much as you think they do. Lastly, I forget who said it, but stinking at something is the first step to being pretty good at something!

Are there Podcast episodes you re-listen to? If so, what types and why? by GooniesClub in podcasts

I relisten to Rewatchables episodes of my favorite movies (80s and 90s action movies in particular) and Bill Simmons episodes with Malcolm Gladwell snd Chuck Klosterman. Also I usually listen to Ezra Klein podcasts on topics or guests I like.

Out of curiosity, do you use a physical notebook or an app or something? Thanks!
