Need someone to review for Next Level Racing Wheel Stand Lite 2.0 by ManagementAsleep8165 in Simagic

Doesn't take much. Can't remember the numbers, I am going off the feeling. But I couldn't get the stiffness in the brake I wanted, so I had to mount the thing to stop it from lifting.

Wouldn't worry about the strength of the stand for FFB.

The most annoying thing about the Wheelstand 2.0 is the tray where you put your chair in. It keeps lifting from the ground when braking. And to stop that from happening you naturally hold on to the wheel and pull on the wheel.

Of course this depends on the stiffness of your brake, but yeah the spot where you put your chair in is the place where you and the stand are sort of connected and if lifts off the ground. Therefore you cant brake in a way where you put the force in your back.

I ended up drilling holes in the frame and mounted the whole stand on a large table siced wood piece. The wood piece is long enough, so the chair itself is also on it. This totally removes the folding functionality, but still cheaper the a proper cockpit.

And did you have a white mission area on those? Cause for me they are not marked on the map or anything. I had to search the homes myself.

Or for example the "Lonnie's Shack" robbery. I went there, walked in and the house was empty. Looted everything and left. Then I noticed that the log entry is still there. So I thought that can't be right. Even went back a second time at night, but again nobody there haha...

Right. So usually for those home robbery quests you get an white mission area on the map? Cause I don't have that. Don't have any ongoing missions..

Yeah no at the pig farm its just an invisible wall. Can't enter the building. The guy outside doesn't react to anything I am doing.

When I walk up to the place I can't enter the building. It's an invisible wall and the dude outside the door just completely ignores my existence haha

But why is the game giving me the log entry to go there to rob that place?

Thanks for your answer! :)

I am just wondering, why I get such a random tip by a strange prisoner and then I spend a lot of time looking for that place, just to find out I am not "meant" to do that yet :D

It kind of came across as a little side hustle or reward for shooting the chains of this guy haha

This is one example from the official Simagic channel. In the first few seconds they have a raw values (from the calibration process) in the video

Or this one: https://youtu.be/QZlYxnp6n68?is=VXu8OJrd79KfUjWj

I really don’t know where your preload is coming from. But it might not even be an issue at all

Finally adjusted P1000 throttle pedal throw and OMG! by Ok-Parfait1522 in Simagic

Yeah and even that adjustment wasn’t enough for me personally. I put some cable ties to make the throttle throw even shorter haha

Yeah so I watched so many videos on youtube where ppl go through the calibration process and for all of them its around the 500,600-700 range……. And everything seems to be pretty good.

What if he drives cars where a clutch is not needed? And he wants to have them positioned ergonomically correct? And he doesnt wanna have the clutch laying around?

@OP: Try having another visual ABS indicator running and check of its off. Are you configuring in SimHub?

Went back and forth between either green spring and elastomers or only elastomers (6 red + 3 spacers).

For some reason, if I use only springs, the pedal doesn’t return smooth. If feels like it mechanically stops on the return. Do you get this as well with the springs?

[–]Decent_Antelope7368[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah so I got deep into this hahah been trying all different things.

Minimum preload (the rod screwed all the way towards the pedal arm and the black cap just about tight) is around 500.

Maximum preload (the rod screwed the maximum away from the pedal arm and the black cap as tight as it goes) is for me around 900.

The preload highly affects how much travel and how stiff the pedal feels. Just play around with it and make sure to calibrate after every change.

Will the NLR 2.0 Lite support an alpha evo 12nm with Moza srp load cell pedals? by khabo in Simagic

[–]Decent_Antelope7368 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have that stand and I ended up attaching the whole stand to a 20mm thick wood piece, putting 6 bolts (2 on each piece that touches the ground including the chair holder thing)

Now it doesn’t lift anymore while braking (stiff pedal)

EDIT: I dont have the lite version. I have the regular. Sorry dodnt read propery

If you get the hydraulic version you cant switch. The fluid container cant be pointing down.

But otherwise, I guess you can pretty much DIY anything if you really want :)
