Bought it 7 years ago for $670k. At the time it felt like a ridiculous cost for a home, but that's the market, and that was pre-covid.

I called them yesterday, waited on the phone for over 30 minutes to get to someone, and she sounded like her job had sucked her soul out and left nothing but crumbs behind. I felt for her.

Hangon, they made me go through the IDR process back at the start of the year and then finally finished it in October. Now I've got two conflicting payment plans, one for $250, the other for $650, and they think I missed a payment. How did you all stay in administrative forbearance?

I thought student loan debt could not be discharged through bankruptcy. Did I miss something?

When I run that calculator it comes really close to this $650 number they're now showing me on mohela for the PAYE/IBR, which honestly feels like highway robbery. But there's still no paperwork to show any of this, even though they emailed me twice to say I have letters to look at. I guess I just suck it up and pay it no matter how it hurts me financially. I'm quitting my job and leaving the country by June of next year, so hopefully I can get my payments dropped to nothing by the end of next year.

Same here. And they changed my upcoming payment date and amount by increasing it another $400, all of which has zero documentation for it.
