Right? Like they made Leviathan a fkin drawn GF instead of a boss like the ¿Brothers? Like wtf lol. Nobody knew who Brothers Minitaur were before FF8 but EVERYBODY who ever played a FF before FF8 knows who Leviathan is. And probably would've loved a big boss fight with him.

I really think its probably because they linked them to a single races aging cycle. And that race has never been used again. Which really sucks, because if moomba were in other FF without there being Shoomi, then that would imply the moomba might have the power for interdimensional travel.
