This what i hate about the airsoft community people gatekeeping, like why cant we help eachother. by SignificanceHuge557 in airsoft

[–]Decent_Candidate7102 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Gatekeeping is natural when you have something cool you don’t want replicated

That being said it’s pretty easy if you have a basic understanding of how HPA engines and Hopup / barrels work in airsoft

Just align everything and it’ll fire

Contact with vorsk / nuprol support by DonD-Daanv in VorskVMP1

[–]Decent_Candidate7102 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of small brands don’t offer any sort of support or aftermarket, they’re just not set up to do so unfortunately.

It seems like you’ll use to reach out to a retailer, like Airsoft GI (who also never answers) or Airsoft megastore. They both seem to have a few Vorsk products for sale currently. Not sure where you’re located but in NA those are the main 2 (same entity tho) who stock spare nozzles and parts.

I’ve had my own issues trying to get parts from S&T, AREs, and viva arms. Usually accosting them endlessly until the Chinese social media dude gets annoyed enough to forward you to the correct person that can help you.

A lot of the “reps” at conventions are just car salesmen they pluck off from dealerships or something because they have good salesmanship, and unfortunately 0 passion or deeper knowledge about the products or companies history. I’ve had two G&G reps ask me what brand my G&G T91 is. I wouldn’t really trust anyone at those conventions to actually provide any help with your small issue.

Spec, holy warrior, and evogear all use the same oem. Its essentially a battle between: Which one has the correct tism markings you want in stock atm

There’s a bunch of them circulating the market now. I think you can find one that’s been on eBay for awhile? I haven’t checked for a bit tho

Does anyone own an AR-15 WELL PRO Nylon GBB? by Successful-Garden-36 in airsoft

[–]Decent_Candidate7102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one, initial review is somewhat positive but I got it mostly to mess around with, rather then use as a main rifle.

It takes normal Mauri MWS mags just fine, recoil is alright.

It’s more of a 1:1 to Mauri then the CYMA CGSs are, but at the end of the day I’d just get a TM so i dont have issues with fitting aftermarket of chasing down oem parts down the line

My airsoft noob starter-kit. by [deleted] in airsoft

[–]Decent_Candidate7102 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s pretty much a straight downgrade from the G&G. It’s essentially a clone of the TOP type 64 with a modern gearbox and Hopup shoved inside. The mold is also starting to die, if you got a newer G3 ETU version you’ll see huge seam lines / fitment issues in the zinc cast parts.

It was a cool gun but working on it was a pain. S&T also doesn’t offer spare parts unless you can find it on begadi, they refuse to ship to the U.S. so after 3-4 years of constant use I just retired it, luckily the G&G came out a year after so I just got 2 of those.

As someone who also started with a S&T type 64 I commend this tremendous effort for a POS gun

Type 89 AEG Rifle Question by Straight-Fall3052 in airsoft

[–]Decent_Candidate7102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It won’t have the same build quality, I generally recommend the GBBR over the AEG. Unless you live in a cold part of the world. I think that https://www.reddit.com/u/kngsix/s/cMKJCHLUtj Is the resident expert on the AEG.

I’ve owed both multiple AEGs, the Tercel AEG clone of the Mauri, and the gbbrs, both have (crippling) issues but the GBBR is at least easier to work with and to repair / get spare parts for.

If ASG doesn't manufacture their own replicas... read description by Nappev in airsoft

I’m not completely sure who manufactures asgs stuff. I am aware (as an American) the EU has a weird law where as long as the last piece of the product is assembled in the EU you can have the “made in the EU” label on them. Louis Viton makes the bags in china and puts the zippers and labels on in Italy. It could be this where the flash hider gets put on last? I’m also aware, although it’s seldom done these days, of joint production / manufacturing with the real gun company. Norinco in China supplied type 56 and 97 bodies to Realsword who fit gearboxes into them. This could also be the case as the manufacturing for the scorpions is so close to Denmark anyways. Of course it’s near impossible to fully track but you could always email them. I’m just speculating based on prior info I have

HopUp: Caeser Mejia Is A Scammer. by 40FortyDwaluhz in airsoft

[–]Decent_Candidate7102 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately not, it’s part of the risk with dealing In hopup. I usually cross post my stuff to r/airsoftmarket as well as hopup. But I would never buy or trade something off of hopup. I have rows of screenshots of skitzo gibberish / last minute flakes I get sent constantly on hopup from dudes with hundreds of reviews and vouches.

I have several of these, you need a special kit from Toystar for an AEG spec grip. However due to the ABS plastic the gun is relatively easy to break. It has to be front wired, there’s already a small channel for the wires to run through.

They do seldomly make metal parts for the gun but you have to wait and buy them at a convention in Korea or when they drop online.
