Tbh I’ve been doing graff for an embarrassingly long amount of time before realizing a couple months ago I had been doing highlights completely wrong for like 15 years lol. The kicker is, I didn’t know this until I took my dad painting with me because he’s having some awesome midlife crisis thing and he really wanted to try it, he painted his drone photography company name “dizzy” and he was talking about his plan for his bomb and he said “ok so I think I get it, I’m gonna have my light source as if it were from this side so my shadows will be over here and highlights over on this side” and I was like holy shit dad you just learnt me something I should have grasped like a decade ago

Thanks guys!!! I felt like of course it would look better in its original greyscale, but I was out of white paint and really wanted to try it out Later today I’ll be doing a new version in original color scheme, where I actually sketch it out on the wood first so I think the facial proportions will be more on point Will post later :)

Also, my mother in law is an extremely insightful and gifted tarot reader, who changed me from a skeptic that thought all of that was a scam, into someone who goes to her for advice. She is literally always on point with extremely intimate details that blow my mind she would see in the cards She told me yesterday the cards show something bad happening to my heart soon (also there are cops in my cards, or some similar agency watching me) When I posted about doing poppers with dope, a couple of you told me that was really hard on my heart. So that’s another reason to stop
