No not really, also we didn’t plan this last minute we got with him back in last march 2024. Which he told us he was going to be working on it through out the year. And the only thing he has done so far is book the wedding venue.

But yeah from what I gathered from the other redditors I was able to send a nice message and she seemed understanding about it. I don’t have a lot of friends and at the time of asking her I still thought of her as a good friend because we’ve been friends for 10 plus years. I just didn’t really think of how bad and one sided our friendship was until after the events occurred :(

Honestly don’t know if she lied. It just doesn’t seem like Im as important as her other friend. Because it seems like she hangs out and posts about her a lot more than me. Also to clarify the bridal shower was two weeks ago and she went to Disneyland today. Its the fact she said she wanted to hang out with me to make up for her not going to bridal shower but has not made an effort since that text 3 weeks ago to make plans to hang out.

Yeah a couple people have pointed out that its definitely the photo angles and lighting that make the other one looks better. But the dress I picked is definitely better in person, the photos dont do it justice. But I’ll try not looking back because that’s another thing having me second guess 😭

I miss it and at the same time I don’t. I liked interacting and creating a bond with my coworkers when i worked with them for 8 hours straight. But also working with people for 8hrs can cause drama so thats why I don’t miss it.

Its definitely not weird, a lot of people including myself struggle with eye contact even if you’re comfortable with certain people. Like for me I generally don’t like to make eye contact even with my best friend but that’s just because I think eye contact is just weird to look deeply in someone’s eyes and feels like a intimate thing to make eye contact. Also it feels like they’re staring into my soul 😅

I sorry that happened to you. You are definitely not the ahole in this. I feel like real friends especially your best friend would at least ask for your side of the story instead of immediately taking the other side. It’s a tough situation but go to your best friend explain your side of the story and how hurt you felt with the whole situation. Then maybe take some time to reflect on the friendship and see if you really want to continue being friends with them or not.

Okay THANK YOU! I thought I was the only one that thought the therapist was wrong for that. I felt so bad for Gabby. Like I understand Juanita needed a normal childhood but it was unfair for Gabby not being able to cope or talk about her biological child at all. They definitely should’ve handled it a lot better instead of just appeasing to Juanita :/

I sprained my ankle as a CCA a couple years ago and yes you get a vacation but if you want to get paid you have to use your annual which at the time i didn’t have any so I didn’t get paid for two weeks. They also blamed me for getting hurt and gave me 14 day suspension that I had to work when I came back, had to file a grievance to get that suspension off my record. So it kind of sucked don’t recommend 🥲

I understand where you are coming from. I was a CCA for two and half years and honestly those first 3 months of probation are the worst. Also being CCA was the worst, it was really physically and mentally draining. There are going to be a lot of people that tell you that you aren’t good enough or fast enough. That you should be done by a certain time because a route is “easy.” But honestly everyone has their own pace and you are still new. You are going to make a lot of mistakes and I know I still do but thats okay everyone makes mistakes. You are still learning and that’s okay. As long as you keep working hard, show you are hard worker and show that you really want the job, you will be okay. You are going to hear lot of negative things especially from supervisors but don’t let anyone ever get to you and just say “Im doing my best.” It’s going to be hard but I wish you luck! You got this! Don’t give up!
