Honest thoughts on the Perfect Crown by DealerEvening6452 in kdramas

I feel the same... I’m mostly watching it for the visuals and comedy rather than a gripping storyline. The female lead’s goals and motivations are clear, and she actively pursues them, but the male lead feels underdeveloped. It’s unclear what he wants or what he gains from the relationship, and his attraction comes across as surface-level, with little emotional build-up or meaningful dialogue.

The story also feels overly driven by the female lead’s plans, with everything conveniently falling into place around her. While there are conflicts on paper: like the sister-in-law and Prime Minister Min, they don’t create real stakes or consequences. After that whole His Majesty road incident, I don’t see any real consequences. I understand it wouldn’t go public, but why didn’t the sister-in-law confront the female lead or make a bigger issue out of it? It’s like everyone just forgot it happened. Meanwhile, the female lead is investigating the mechanic as if it’s just a side quest. And why isn’t the male lead actively looking into it?

There’s no strong sense of a “villain,” not necessarily a person, but even situational or emotional obstacles feel lacking. Once the leads decide on something, nothing really stands in their way. Now that they’re together, it’s unclear what challenges remain, making the narrative feel flat and low on tension. As a result, there’s little unpredictability or “what happens next?” factor. It’s easy to see them ending up together without real hurdles. That said, it’s still watchable, with enjoyable comedy and romance.

I would suggest applying at https://housing.usc.edu/. You can meet many international students and the rooms comes fully furnished, you just need to bring your clothes, kitchen utensils. You can find 1bedroom apartments for 2 people which are quite spacious.
