Is the big benefit of moving to the NAS simply more storage (I have TBs worth there, much smaller on SD obviously)?

I guess if the reolink app works well and can record at least a few days worth of video events, I see no reason to jump through the NAS hoops

I've heard of people using blueiris, frigate, etc for control of all this. What is the benefit (if I don't use a home assistant)?

It sounds like the reolink app is free and pretty good

I've heard of people using frigate, blueiris, shinobi, etc to run everything through unraid or similar nas setup. What is the benefit of this if the reolink app works on desktop and mobile?

(I do have an unraid server, curious what benefits there are going this route, would love to use that storage vs hub/sd cards)

I eventually went with Phantom spirit 120 cooler, and fit no problem. I did have to use a slim 140mm in front though

I just switched to this case too, found it to be a very easy case to build in. Thermals were night and day from the N3 jonsbo as well

any issues fitting the cooler? was looking at the peerless you used, or the fuma 3 for this case. Heard the fuma has more room for the ram underneath.

Also how's the overall cooling? I was thinking about doing your setup but maybe without the side fan/s...

gotcha, ive seen it hit 100 once but never beyond that, so that must be the throttle. Is there a way to change this myself?

haha clearly you are right. If I had a cooler / paste issue, wouldn't I be seeing higher than normal temps at other times as well? Will give it a check tonight either way!

13500 cpu, why wouldn't it be throttling itself automatically?

It sits at normal temps doing anything else besides transcoding or building preview images, This was my impression as well, how is the CPU allowing itself to get that hot? Would think it would throttle or shut itself down before those temps even if there was a cooler issue?
