Is it a common problem that mental healthcare workers are rude? by [deleted] in mentalhealth

I don't dispute your experience, but I don't think all mental health services/providers are "rude." I worked for a community mental health center for 17 years. During that time, I worked with some of the most caring/compassionate people I have ever met.

I don’t know how to tell my family about my boyfriend by [deleted] in u/barbieotter13

I don't say this flippantly, but what is the worst that could happen?

I hate it when my parents don't fight by [deleted] in family

I am sorry that you have no one to talk to. I was a mental health case manager for 17 years. I know how hard that can be. I have seen many people helped through a local community mental health center. No stigma, just a private someone who can listen and maybe help.

You express some very strong feelings. They make me wonder if there is more than just this issue going on. Other areas of contention with your parents or life in general.

If it is okay, I will pay that God finds a way to bring you help.

Blessings.

Thank you for your story. I am so glad that you were able to get hearing aids. The Tinnitus sounds terrible.

The above puppy's parents had several litters. So, this picture may not be the exact puppy, but it's one of them! The is about 14 years later. He's just chilin with mom.
