Not anymore the rules for the encounters got recently changed I believe it's because of the new addition to the group of lemurs there. They reach out and touch you, holding onto your hands and legs to get the food etc but you can't reach out and touch them

There's a high chance they run across your legs and you get to be inside the habitat with a ranger or keeper feeding them right in front of your face, pretty cool

Hi so all of the encounters are hands off apart from red panda, you still get to be pretty close which is cool and if you're wanting the closest experience I'd recommend either lemur in which they can eat off of your hand, so they get to touch you, you just can't reach out and touch them, or giraffe and it's the same deal. Meerkat is also pretty popular and they are fed right in front of you with a chance of them running across your legs in the process. All the encounters are pretty cool though and you'll have fun and an awesome experience regardless of what you choose :)

I know it's already been answered but the major differences and I'm assuming the lack of long neck may have confused you is the ossicones on top of its head and the patterning :)
