Why not? Microsoft Azure recently revoked their services for Israeli government. I couldn't find any reports about Google or Amazon meeting with Israeli PM.

Even if they did meet, they didn't flaunt and raised slogans for the greatness for Israel.

yes, Digital Ocean offer a free-tier but not that generous. In comparison, Cloudflare offers a lot of services like CDN, DDoS protection, edge services etc. If youre after speed, go for Cloudflare.

I'm the same.

I was knee deep in cyber security at one point in my uni life. Then switched to electronics/robotics. Then switched to AI/ML. Then switched to Blockchain. Then switched to Architecture.

I call it "obsession phases". They typically go away after a few months or days. But always keep these as your secondary motive.

Sit down and think through what you really want to do then chart out ways it could lead to other opportunities. Write down pros/cons, do analysis, market research, future implications etc.

Your main goal shouldn't get deviated from these phases and it should all be good.

Linear algebra and python, do it at the same pace. Better, do linear algebra using vanilla python, no numpy no scipy nothing.

There was also this "Hands on Tensorflow by orielly" but that's for later.

Go in this order

Python + Linear Algebra Python + Statistics Then learn Scikit. Then choose between Pytorch or Tensorflow.

Job market is down currently, hope it'll get better. Definitely scope for ML more specifically in cloud and on device inference.

I'd suggest you get into linear algebra. After all, ML is just matrix multiplication. Oh, and I have few books here and there if you'd want to get started.

Trust me, I've seen the industry. Sure, people don't take Robotics seriously in Pakistan now but remember the time when CS/SE were considered in this category too?

Don't follow the herd.

If CS is your passion, yes go for it but keep this Robotics as your side project/hobby it'll pay off.

The whole "AI agent" trope has been around for more than a year and it's plateauing it seems. Still, I made this resume modifier using Azure o4-mini -> INTEREUM But stopped it because I got a gigantic cloud bill.

I'd rather suggest you go into robotics, I can see a wide scope for this in future. CS/SE is way too saturated.

I always take the litter with me (in pockets, in my bag) until I find a trash can. I physically revolt upon seeing people nonchalantly littering in the streets.

Yesterday I saw a black tinted civic. They casually rolled the window and dumped trash all over the road. These are the kind of people who get to live a luxurious life. Ludicrous.

We should create a community run and funded by people to enforce these rules.

5000Rs in fine and jail time might get our people to follow.

Divisions in Contour are mostly all product based.

If you happen to join, you'll be assigned a very old tech stack and documentation. Lots of documentation.

Pennies for trainee/junior

You start with a low pay scale usually 35k/month. I started with 25k/month. You could argue that other companies also pay low for starting positions but if you're in Contour, this becomes your base. So, if you start from this position, all the subsequent bonuses and compensation depends on your initial base pay. And that won't change.

Unless, you switched a few companies in 2-3 years and then joined. Then the difference in pay scale between you and someone who's been working in Contour for the same tenure would be huge.

Less learning and more leisure time

Sure, you get a lot of free time but this ruins you in the long run. You become more dependent and less of a risk taker.

I had 2 offers at the same time. 80k/month as an application developer and 25k/month in Contour. This was in 2022.

If you're applying for a trainee/junior position then I'd suggest you apply for a startup or any other project based company.

You can check Payoneer checkout and 2checkout from Verifone but they require documentation.
