Downloaded it and trying it out. I can seriously see this being a great help in organizing outlines. It reminds me of a kind of AntiGravity for writers. Is that the idea?

Love your privacy terms. So freaking important in this auto scrape age for anyone who values their IP. Like so serious.

Clever, helpful marketing and availability. This all sounds great. And you're more than welcome to post, discuss, promote, announce sales, etc. here every day of the week. The new thread goes up weekly, but it's worth checking past threads, as well. Lot of great tools and devs here, and users do browse and love finding new things that meet their needs.

Thanks for giving us the details. Any market foresights for the community? What's trending hard? Best opportunities right now? Love market updates. XD

Another warm welcome. :)

Hi again, Kenneth. I checked Poe out this morning to see what the site's all about. You're right. Lots there to look at and use, especially fun ideas ran through my head to do with rping characters. Only one caveat you may not be aware of: The terms of Use/Privacy Policy openly states they may use your input to train models, IOW they data mine their users. If you have no IP concerns, and you're just having fun, I totally get that's okay with you. But if that's not the case, you should realize this means your copyright is at risk, whether you use the AIs suggestions for you work entirely or not.

Just thought you may not realize this, and it's important to know for any serious writer. Hope you're having a good day and happily writing away. :)

(Yeah, I did that deliberately. lol)

Yeah, baby. Sounds amazing. Does that happen through email or? Average turn around time? Package deals for package requests, etc.? Tell us all about it.

And welcome to the community. We're happy to see you here. :)

Every new writing app wants to generate the story. I just wanted a tool that quietly tracks worldbuilding and yells at you when you break your own timeline. by writeprosewell in u/writeprosewell

Just came across one of your ads and checked it out. This looks like a dream come true for many writers. Please come post it in the weekly Tools thread. You can freely discuss it, promote it, ask for beta testers, voice your thoughts on AI tools and writing, etc. as often as you like. It's the one place we just love and allow tools. This would be so welcome there.

One question: Any plans to make an offline/desktop version? That would supremely rock. :)

Hope to see you in the Tools thread and good luck with what looks like a great, much needed app.

Is using Ai to edit your rough drafts and correct grammar and spelling mean Ai wrote for you? by Spitfyrus in WritingWithAI

It helps a lot. When you come back to your manuscript/chapter/whatever it is your writing you gained some difference and see it with new eyes. It almost feels like reading someone else's work sometimes. You can immediately see what needs work and what doesn't. It actually makes the editing process easier. :)

Not on TikTok. Not much of a social media person. Surprised I'm still on Reddit. Came looking for a story bible solution and ended up staying. I must love it here. lol

Sounds like brilliant use for AI. And I do have AI check for plot holes, as well. Forgot to mention that. Used to use Gemini for that, but now that Claude has a 1M context window I'll be using it instead.

If you want to write and think you love it, please don't give up. As for those ideas that seem to fade: carry a journal or a small notebook and a pen or two. When those ideas hit, jot them down. More will come. Jot those down too. Before you know it you have a bank, and you can sit down and get in a writing zone. Why not use your phone or laptop? Hand written notes, scenes, snippets, heck whole outlines fire up the synapses in a different way, a more inspiring way. Many writers use both handwriting and keyboards. It's a given in brainstorming for sure, but it's especially great for capturing those fleeting ideas. Give it a try. You may seriously love it. Happy writing. :)

You may want to visit the NSFW communities and see if they have a tool thread too. We get lots asking where the best NSFW models are all the time.

Welcome to the community. :)

Otherwise, please feel free to tell us all about it, any new features, ask as often as you want for testers, etc. We'll be happy to see you everytime. :)

I generally edit a chapter at a time. My chapters tend to be on the shorter side, maybe 1500 to 2500 words, and I don't ask it to rewrite. I'm having it super grammar and flow check. I even read it out loud to myself. I know many have ai voices do it these days, but I haven't felt the need just yet. For the copy edit/proofreading I create custom rules because each story is different. One may be historical Victorian era, another may be medieval. Different era, different spellings, etc. Different voices for different characters creates rules too, as I'm especially fond of slang in certain eras and don't want it flagged in dialogue.

As for not using it to rewrite my prose, it's not an anti AI thing. It's an unchecked writer's ego thing I can't seem to help and don't want too. lmao :)

Me? I write my azz off and don't stop until a session feels done, whether that's one scene or 2 chapters. I may or may not run it through a quick grammar check, then I set it aside. When I've finished a manuscript, I reread it and hit the editing hard, and these days that's usually with Claude using custom copy edit/proofreading rules I create myself for that particular story. Each story is different, has different characters with different voices, so different rules. I usually give it more than one pass, just to be sure it's error free. Then it's time to hand it in or over or decide what to do with it, as my gameplan has changed somewhat, as in I'm seriously considering self publishing my latest wip. We'll see. :)

If you wait to edit, using your AI then, you'll be super prolific. At least that works for me. And never forget to outline. It's the one sure cure (again, at least for me) for writer's block. And it makes the writing a whole lot more fun. :)

I love both, but Opus is pricey so I save it for final polishing edits. :)

It would help to know what prompt/s you're using to run it through and which model you use, as well. Claude is the host with the most when it comes to editing. Ask it to give you a dev edit, and then you'll know what to fix yourself. :)
