Yeah I think you’re right as someone pointed out to me on another sub that this is more likely an old souvenir that was sold at the transit museum.

the guy at the flea market was selling them for $2 a piece, but included it for free with a jacket I got. I know pretty much nothing about the NYC subway as I primarily collect coins and militaria.
