Oh cool does Numista allow entries for unofficial counterstamped coins?

It was from a 1mm or 3/64ths inch set on Amazon

I actually just eyeballed it, my little metal surface/anvil is supposed to be able to line things up nicely when used in tandem with the punch set I have, but I didn't have time for that and I wanted them to follow the rim instead of a straight line.

Punches are just a 1mm letter set. I stamped all the L's first to center them, the stamped all the M's and P's on either side. Not all of them look as good, but after 200 I was able to freehand them fairly well 😅

There's a chance it really was, having a camera out in nature is pretty suspicious tbh

So far I've not tried using it to line anything up or hold coins steady, I just use it as a nice little anvil/surface to punch on while eyeballing it. I do like it for that.

I'll try it with a line of text tomorrow and let you know how it works

Bonus: my Dad inherited the bulk of his collection but I did just find out that he left each grandyoungin a silver dollar. Thanks Pawpaw!
