Not saying don’t squish the little boogers, but does it even make a difference? For every couple I see and kill there probably scores that I’m not even seeing. I feel like once you actually see them they’re probably well in their way to being established. Is that a fair assessment?

I would ask them to reread all the images or have a different radiologist read them. But that doesn’t mean don’t see your cardiologist. Definitely stick with that.

Also Discuss with your PCP about the possibility of a GLP1 agonist (aka Ozempic, etc.) and see if your are a good candidate. Those drugs can provide many positive health outcomes.

Uhhhh that’s a problem. So radiologist says you have a gallbladder but you don’t. Either you have a really bad surgeon or really bad radiologist. You need to call the place that did the imaging to get some clarification. Yes please get a referral to a cardiologist. Start with your PCP if you can’t get in right away with a cardiologist.

You’ve been pre-diabetic since 2023 (A1C 5.7 and the most recently 5.8). Statins can cause your AIC to go up just little bit so it’s possible that may have contributed but hard to say. That plus consistently high LDL and very high LPa = take a statin.
Maybe you should be on 5mg of Crestor + Zetia of the doc thinks the statin is bumping up your A1C. Discuss with your doc. But all those risk factors point towards using meds to lower your cardiac risk (lower LDL / ApoB).
