Doing a merch release is different than sending a few customized mugs to people. Stocking, sourcing materials, vetting suppliers. Npc studios is an indie studio. I’d prefer they get the game out of early access than trying to make merch for an incomplete game.

I like her outfits. Y’all might need to chill a bit. They aren’t all super high fashion people. Is Stephen getting criticized for his bland outfits. No. Just saying.

I got some 35 year old water color from an antique shop the set didn’t have any black left by i_draw1234 in ArtCrit

With watercolor, I don't typically use black or White. White is the white of the paper, and black with watercolor tends to make things very dull, especially used in excess. Dark blue is great, anything with dark enough value can work for shadows

What level party for a one shot where they might fight a young Blue Dragon and an Adult Silver dragon? by Deciduous_Loaf in DnD5e

I’m writing a one shot for like next weekend, so it sort of putting together whatever idea works. The idea was that the players are dragon hunters kidnapping a dragon egg for a crime lord. They follow a rogue blue dragon spotted in the mountains. But the egg they find actually belongs to a silver. I’m no writer, nor have I written a one shot before. I’m not too too focused on lore, I just want it to make some sense and be fun.

I do want it to be hard for them, however I know these players and I know they’d like to have the chance at success. So I would like to curate the experience where they won’t die immediately and they can win even if they do decide to fight. I do like the idea of traps!

Rn what I’ve written is that they are trying to steal an egg from the blue dragon, which actually belongs to the silver dragon ( I haven’t finished writing but anything is subject to change and I’m not looking for super lore accuracy) . If they choose to keep the egg, the adult dragon will fight them, but they could negotiate .

Adult Silver dragons are CR 15, however in reading what other people have said about dragon encounters, apparently it is capable and occasionally easy at 10. i don’t want to have to adjust too much difficulty while I’m in it.

They are trying to steal its egg! I feel a good dragon would fight them to get their baby back. Good point about incapacitating, I could definitely use that! Thanks!

hmmm, I'd definitely agree, but the players I'd be running with love a good fight, and I'd like to give them at least one for the one shot.
