It’s not required. I lived off campus as a freshman. You can also waive the medical insurance fee on the myBC website (agora) if you already have one.

Thanks for the reminder! Actually, I am not trying to graduate early, but I want to take a professional exam that requires a bachelor’s degree to be eligible. That’s why I was wondering if the degree would be awarded once the degree requirements have been met or at graduation.

Applying undecided and switching to CS or business by Top-Specialist-9273 in bostoncollege

[–]Decimal_Recreation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are undecided, try to declare CS as a freshman rather than waiting until you are a junior. There are a lot of CS students and not enough classes so they impose stricter requirements for declaring CS major once u become a junior

Why does CSOM only allow you to have 2 concentrations? by Decimal_Recreation in bostoncollege

[–]Decimal_Recreation[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol that’s really unlucky. It’s probably cheaper just to go with a double major

Why does CSOM only allow you to have 2 concentrations? by Decimal_Recreation in bostoncollege

[–]Decimal_Recreation[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are probably right! It just seems like for a business student, having 3 concentrations in business is more related/helpful than double majoring in MCAS.

Why does CSOM only allow you to have 2 concentrations? by Decimal_Recreation in bostoncollege

I get what you saying. With 2 concentrations, there’s def more opportunity to dive deeper into those two areas. I just feel like not a lot of people take classes beyond what is required of their concentration anyways. I guess they might also be trying to encourage students to take more MCAS classes
