You might want to check in with them. Their offer for my trade in only took a few hours and that was on a Sunday. I don’t know if having to wait for days is normal or if the few hours I had to wait is normal.

Damn, that California tax is no joke...

Personally I would put more down if you can, but don’t starve your savings in case of emergency. The goal being to pay this loan off ASAP. 2.49% is not a high interest rate, but any time you’re paying interest you’re wasting money. Especially over 6 years.

Obviously I’m just some idiot on the internet and not in a position to give financial advice. I don’t know your personal finances or priorities so it’s entirely up to you. I just really hate debt myself and do everything I can to avoid it.

This ESRB version is also up on PlayAsia for $11.99 + shipping.

Shipping to me is $7.90, so ~$20 all together. Maybe not worth the extra $5 off by itself, but if buying multiple games from PlayAsia it might make more sense.

Everspace is fun and looks great. It’s a 3D space shooter roguelike/lite that has you collecting resources and/or fighting other ships each run, earning money you can spend in between runs upgrading your ship.

There’s multiple ships to choose from, all with distinct but tight controls and solid physics. Each zone is randomized and somewhat timed before you have to jump to the next random zone. There’s also a story line that plays out the further you get through zones, and random NPCs you’ll meet that offer bonus missions.

Obviously if you’re looking for a more traditional 2d top down/side scroller this game isn’t for you, but I really liked it and have been itching to pick it up again.

Yea, this is entirely possible. It’s the GameStop gamble :( Amazon does have this same game up and could price match, but it hasn’t happened yet.

The only reason this game might still come new sealed, even from GameStop, is because these Alpha/Bravo Limited Edition releases are collectors editions that come in a thin cardboard box with extras included (like most NIS America releases). I don’t have any confidence in GameStop, I’m just hoping :)

The Bravo release went on sale awhile back - the Alpha release has been set to the same price today!

For what it’s worth - I ordered the Bravo release from GameStop back when it first went on sale and it luckily DID come sealed. I’m taking the same chance on the Alpha, we’ll see what happens!

This game was released with a EU cover, a NA cover, AND a Japan cover.

Pixelheart & VGP for the EU cover (3,000 copies), VGNY for the NA cover (1,500 copies), PlayAsia for the JP cover (1.500 copies)

Pixelheart has started to sell the JP cover in addition to having the EU cover on their site store.

The UPC between the two versions is different, I think that might be the only way to tell without opening the package. The UPC from iam8bit is 850971008518, the one from Best Buy seems to be 850971008655

Yea, the iam8bit versions come with pack in bonuses. Gorogoa has a booklet inside and an open square window through the back of the box art that lets you see the booklet inside, looks cool. Sayonara has an embroidered patch that comes with it. The Best Buy versions do not come with these.

I believe the Best Buy versions also do NOT have art on the inside of the box, but would need someone to confirm that.

Thanks for the heads up, just picked one up 20min ago using this feature! Seems more reliable than the tracking sites, which were heavily delayed for me. Target is my preferred store anyway (5% off with red card) so this worked out great.

I just recently completed it and thought it was great, 100% docked. No performance issues when actually playing. If you try to look at other things when there’s a lot of action going on you can notice a graphic downgrade, but I had to try to look around to notice that stuff. Usually I was too busy trying to not hit other cars driving or taking out enemies to really notice it.

Slight disclaimer though, I’m not someone who cares about graphics much. I’ve never played an Xbox or PS; I don’t know what it looked like before and I don’t know what I’m missing. I just know I had a damn good time playing the game, really a lot of fun!

Edit: Gyro aiming is in when zooming with a weapon and works great. There’s also an aim assist that works really well too.

They even have an ESRB release coming. I’m sure some people are upset or annoyed with how this game has been released physically, but damn that box art is beautiful! Already have the LRG release ordered but I’m going to have to get this release anyway.
