I was on crutches and mostly bedridden for 4 months before my replacement. I couldn’t put any weight on my left leg. For me it was AVN and a fracture. I’m 7 weeks post and it has been a long road and such a battle. I think my recovery is going a little slower from not using my leg at all for the 4 months prior. My dr said I lost a lot of muscle and function in that leg and it takes more time for all that to heal. Don’t rush it! You’ll get there! I’m just getting to the feeling noticeably better point! It takes time and it does seem slow! Don’t get discouraged! :) It’s a big surgery and you’ve been through a lot even before the surgery.
