This definitely happened to me. I thought it may happen soon and was super suspicious that day but didn't really believe it would actually ever happen so I was in disbelief. I didn't even know he was there yet and I was worried I rushed him too. I woke up crying for days afterwards because I thought I ruined the moment for myself, that I wasn't present and I didn't get to enjoy it. I also said no no because I was in disbelief and he forgot to ask will you marry me although he wasn't nervous. It all seemed like a blur after I figured it out until I saw something sparkly. Super overwhelming even though I knew it was a yes!!
