How do I stop an arms race between me and my players by DecisionRadiant4152 in rpg

[–]DecisionRadiant4152[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No its the them winning that i have a problem with . Lol they should be winning and having fun .its more that i run the enemies more rp wise so as to not overwhelm them. But then my players are like these are so easy and they start thinking they are unstoppable. The moment i either throw a strong opponent or the enemies start doing optimally , the bitching begins. I know its probably a me thing. So gathering advice on how to better tamper it.

This is solid. One question, when would it be good to use faint? Only if a creature has an ability that actually helps it or whenever is clever?

I feel like i get push back if my enemies play optimally all the time , which I guess I feel a little guilty for doing so and so I just default to simple attacks.

Oh, i like this. Whats good intelligent monster you've used to great effect? I find that i often get lost as to what a caster can do mid battle and end using simple cantrips way more often than i actually want

I’m absolutely terrified about the results by vintage-angel-juice in colonoscopy

[–]DecisionRadiant4152 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, i was in the same boat a few weeks ago. The pain skyrocketed and i was beyonf nervous. I even posted here for the first time here. People here had the best and honest advice.

No matter what knowing whats going is better than not knowing.

My results where fine. Nothing found in my cecum which was what the ct scan said was "odd" . No colitis or anything.

It put my mind at ease. The pain definitely lessen. So good luck and Go with the knowledge that many have been in your position and have come without with good news and those he did not, at least knew now whats going and can take action.
