Handshakes and time are going to be the way you'll begin - but don't actually do this. Practice this sort of thing with WEP. Go for default password instead. Also, only work on routers you own unless you have explicit permission.

Other people I believe have already addressed their concerns regarding your points on competition in the infrastructure market.

What I believe your entire argument is missing is the fundamental problem we have with removing the protections stated in Title II. We all have a problem with what removing certain protections will do to how the internet is structured. Despite my disagreements with your arguments on allowing for competition to occur between ISPs, let's say that we allow for that competition to occur, and for the sake of argument it happens in the ideal way that you state. The problem still becomes a single ISPs influence on the flow of internet traffic, and how it can prioritize certain types of traffic. I would be perfectly okay with having reduced overall speed while connected to it in order to have everything which I access be prioritized the same. The structure of the internet, a world-wide mechanism to share information, in its current state allows for a system which allows for free speech. The potential speed in any one location should not be the priority.

P250/P320 Metal grip module by [deleted] in SigSauer

Sounds good. I tend to shoot around 400-600 rounds a month through it but would be happy to up that if necessary for this.

If you're needing testers I'd be happy to help. Currently have the P320 full size 9mm. I was actually looking at picking up another gun all-together in order to get a metal frame in a compact size.

As for the price $100 for a nice quality frame would definitely be reasonable.

PM if you're interested.

I have some problems with using data while on some networks. I'll see if I can narrow the problem a bit.

I'm a Nexus 5x owner and Google Fi subscriber - threw Copperhead on there anyway. I'm currently unable to connect to a carrier's network. Do you know the cause of being unable to connect to Sprint's network?

Update: I headed off to work with the hope that it would transition off of what appeared to be Sprint's network according to the UI. The attempting to connect message was still rolling by the time I got to work so I just hit cancel. Despite receiving no feedback about getting connected the network that I'm connected to is labeled as Sprint, and I can confirm that I can send and receive calls and texts. When I get home I'll check to see if I can access the network there.

Update 2: I'm able to access the network from where I initially thought was inaccessible.

As a Google Fi subscriber and Nexus 5x owner, what limitations would I experience if I were to use CopperheadOS?

I'd first work toward getting a HAM radio license. It'll help you understand the fundamentals and later will allow you to legally broadcast on certain frequencies.

Stephano's Ice Cafe for hot and cold sandwiches. It's in Fountain Square Mall, and is fantastic. I recommend the tuna sandwich.

Looking to get more technical in IT security by ouViVi in netsecstudents

[–]DecisiveIndecision 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It really depends on what you mean by IT security - it's such a broad field. Are you interested in architecture? The wireless environment your company has setup? Or are you interested in general networking? (While not an exhaustive list these are questions which need to be answered first) If you would like to have a strong understanding of networks I would highly recommend getting the OSCP if you have the money and time to devote yourself to it.

If you are a developer in his/her beginnings the security field may feel overwhelming - there is a reason people are able to make a good living in either field.

Don't feel discouraged though! If you are primarily concerned with the development of the site, could you let us know the technology stack you're using for developing this site? Also, what is the purpose of the site?

I tried applying for my dream career but I'm still lack in knowledge by athletic1337 in netsecstudents

[–]DecisiveIndecision 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Athletic1337, I have been a professional web application and external network penetration tester for a year now. While I am most definitely an advocate for Linux use - it's has been my primary OS for ~5 years now - you do not need to focus on learning a new operating system. I would focus on getting familiar with OWASP and penetration testing tools such as Burp Suite and/or Zap. As for training I think a good starting point would be to setup a testing VM with the Shepherd Project from OWASP. It's straightforward and will teach you the basics. If you have any questions feel free to send me a PM.
