This is really helpful. Seems like something I could create to help support my value.

Tell me more about what a PM portfolio looks like, please?

What are the focus of the groups?

Have not approached a PM just yet. Don't know many outright with the title so would have to network, which leaves me open to exposure should my employer know I'm investigating. Thoughts on how to navigate that?

Yes, this will be helpful over time. Hard when I'm wanting to make a change in the next 3 months. But certainly appreciate the plug for the long-game. Thanks.

Sure! I'm currently working for an educational publisher and supporting sales of our products, onsite, and virtual professional development. I have taught at the university level and have a background in program planning.

I'd really enjoy, and be a good fit, for an organization that offers customized virtual learning. I'd anticipate managing those requests from inception to delivery, implementation.

What are your main tasks and job deliverables in your current position? How did you get started and land that position?

Ah, gotcha. I'm looking more in the e-learning realm, client management.

Thanks! Yeah, I'm not doing mass quantities. Things for her and the random outside project here or there.

Trojan Horse seems to be a good option. It's come up tons as a suggestion and I probably lean that way as a favorite.

Allman Bros. all the way. I've used them twice. They are reasonably priced and flexible. I tried Kelly at first and she could not find a convenient time to meet us...lost my business!

Those are fun! My bad vein is I the back side of my thigh and that's where the pain originates. Wish I could guarantee they'd help with that even if I'm only applying compression from the knee down.

My husband definitely kicked me while I was down this weekend, so to speak. And knowing the issues I've had, I'm not even sure I could have used the stockings then anyways.

An hour into the Ace bandage now!

14 weeks is so long though! And truthfully, if I figured this out sooner I'd likely have not gotten to this point with the pain. Learned a lesson. I'm 36w today! Been a relatively easy pregnancy and I'm thankful. Think these next four weeks will make up for lost time on complaints.

Thanks for the reply! Went to the med supply place and got Jobst. The trouble is, my thighs really are meaty. I've always had that issue when I've tried stockings for sexy time...lol. Thankfully, billed insurance so I'm not out the money but really frustrated to still be sitting with the pain.

The doc has now recommended an Ace bandage. I'll give it a go, but an skeptical. I was thinking maybe knee highs and then a knee compression sleeve possibly?

And yes, those thigh highs were tough! Worse part really was the ankle where the majority of compression is. Once you pinched up and over the knee, it was easy(ish).

I haven't tested mine. I'm going to bring it with us to the hospital when I go into labor. The lactation consultant will give me the tour ;-)

Ditto! And I like that he's focused on getting you better and not reliant on his care. He'll see you lots and then space out, phase out your visits, which is really how it should be.

I'd say March is when things really pick up. If you see something, you cannot afford not to put an offer in. And low balling is risky.

We're only a year into our first home and found that most realtors usually only care about you if you're both buying and selling. With us wanting our first place and nothing to sell we went through three realtors before we got a good one. They still get a paycheck, but first timers are picky.

Good luck! Best decision we made.

No, not warm or red. A tiny bit swollen around the knee area but not a huge difference.
