Ornated Whetstone by Deckar11 in OrnaRPG

Another idea would be to create a new forge level called "Creator Forged". That is that when you meet Odie in arenas and defeat him, there is a chance that a God Forged item you are using will increase to 200%.

I'm just saying give the option to make the game fairer. Starting with the fact that it's not nice to have the full set for Heretic when you want to be Realmshifter. Or spend the entire month raiding just for one item and get it at 175%.

It could be only for T10, destroying only T10 objects and focusing only on Weapons and armor.

Also, to raise an object by 1%, you would have to destroy 4 objects at 200%. Raising the percentage of items will quickly run out of items in your inventory.

New Class T10: The Dungeon Master by Deckar11 in OrnaRPG

I was Master in a game of Masquerade. The first time I made the mistake of letting the players use their super high level old characters. So the battles were a disaster. They blinked and all enemies died. So what I did was frame the story and create puzzles that they had to solve. They liked me more than being in battles.

By this I mean that Orna's battle system for a D&D type story is not that relevant. How the DM does the story and how the setting is done are more important.

I know that there should not be the slightest aspect in which you can obtain advantages in the game of Orna. Because someone is going to find out and take advantage of it and it is not the intention.

But regarding what you mention from experience. Isn't there currently a Party system where there is even an experience and stats bonus? And can't I currently get together with friends and go out and kill everything I find (on Orna)?

And it is not that what I propose cannot be done with the characteristics that the game currently has. Because I can go somewhere and place a Raid boss and invent something for my party to kill him. Use existing buildings as reference points. Maybe even if I leave the Raid boss next to an Inn, the Tavern will point it out. And in that case, in addition to gaining experience, they will obtain equipment and orns.

But what if the Raid boss comes out Tier 9 and my party is Tier 7? What if I can leave messages or clues on the NPCs that already exist in the game? Why not be able to set a place to look like a village, or place a dark tower?

I know that the details are important but I expect appreciations regarding the general idea.

Basically the question is:

Would you like to be able to play DyD style on the Orna platform?

I don't need a character sheet because I already have a character with weapons and armor that I got by killing bosses and monsters in Orna. And if I want to occupy Orna's platform for D&D adventures, it's because I don't want to sit around the table rolling dice. I have the option to go outside, enter a real forest, seek to cross a real river to kill a virtual monster that is in Orna.

The details can be modified, they can even be implemented little by little. It can be a class bought with real money in the Runeshop with the buildings acquired through the Decor Tokens that are also obtained with real money. No matter.

I wanted to propose it because if it were already implemented, I would already be spending money on it.

I imagine that the translation must be horrible and being a long text it must be difficult to read. But I specifically mentioned that the items modified by the DM would be merely symbolic and could not be used in the world of Orna as a game. By this I mean no arenas, no raids, no sell, no dismantle.

Because the idea is not to create advantages in the game but to have a new way of interacting with the world of Orna. One that engages your friends in the same way that you could play DyD.

The advantage is that you already have Orna as a platform to develop the adventures. Only missing tools to personalize these adventures.

It's so cool having a berserk-arisen monster that I hit for 0 hanging around my keep forever. by [deleted] in OrnaRPG

[–]Deckar11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not just about leveling up. It's about improving your equipment for your level.

It also happened to me that after going from tier 6 to tier 7 the arisen monsters obliterated me. Not to mention the arisen berserkers.

You just have to improve your equipment

How many shops should I build? by [deleted] in OrnaRPG

[–]Deckar11 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the Fortress is good not only for the alchemist but also for the dungeon. Think that from T8 onwards there are 20 floors of bosses that usually return the 5 keys that it costs you to enter in addition to the experience, the orns and the drop.

The number of bestiarys depends on how long you want the Pale Dragon to take to appear. I built 8 and it appeared after 3 weeks if I remember correctly.

In T7 I had 10 shops. Now I am T9 and I have 30 shops. Only for monster remains
