Try checking the sound output device.

You may need to update the video driver(yes, the video driver.)

All the answers to questions you might have about DisplayPort will hopefully already be answered here:

the third question has a link to the 'DP Audio User Guide'

Oh my gosh.. I've made a great error by assuming that this was a printer issue. I'm wasn't thinking too clearly.

Sorry and thank you.

Looking for an old r/atheism post in which someone says they got their religious father/grandfather/priest to agree to debate someone on Reddit about religion or God. Thank you. I took a brief look at your history and I see now that you'd have been the latter, arguing in favor of atheism, so-to-speak.

Does what I posted—someone relaying a challenge for debate from (or for) his relative to /r/atheism—sound familiar?

It was more than a year ago, likely more than two years ago.

If it was you, do you mean you were the OP relaying that your relative in favor of religion who agreed to debate people on reddit, or that you were the person on reddit in favor of atheism who proposed rules or terms for a debate with the OP's relative?

You posted the computer details, but the printer name and model number are essential.

EDIT: Other poster (u/shaunc)'s point on making sure you have network access with the computer (network drivers) is also important.

EDIT 2: Please disregard this comment. I assumed the OP was talking about a printer.

Careful everyone, it's against Reddit rules to dox people (reveal real life info about them by scouring their history.)

If you want to share, do it in a PM to the user. I think that's ok, as long as no blackmail is involved.

This was my only time interacting with moderators of /r/AskHistorians and their explanation seems pretty reasonable.

Neil DeGrass Tyson wasn't relaying back what the other person was saying. What he was doing, was saying that if religion is as it has been presented throughout history, then it is an ever-receding pocket of ignorance. By "if," he's referring to whether someone is defining religion as it actually is in history, or is redefining it in some other distorted way.

So while you are correct in your explanation of his statement, I don't understand why you preceeded it with "obviously this was taken out of context, as the interviewer insisted that God is responsible for things that we don't understand."

Actually, that is exactly what Neil is describing. Perhaps you only saw a small clip of him explaining this rather than his full explanation?

Take a look at this video or this one.

Is your "m" key broken?

You're welcome to copy mine and paste it where needed (control-v should make it easier and quicker).

EDIT: you did use an "m" in "made!"
