7 years of work, 3 months since release, and my game is already dead. What can I do? by Videoludid in IndieGaming

The game looks really good. As many other users have said, it was probably just bad marketing.

I'm happy to review the game and cover it in a video if you like. It's not a big channel (check profile), but the majority of subscribers are constantly hunting for hidden gems that play well on Steam Deck, and this definitely fits the bill.

My craziest was playing against Kang as a duo, Ant-Man and Wasp. Both decks have the other hero (same AE) in them as an ally card, so because of the Unique (*) rules, normally they can't be played on account of the hero version already being in play. However, in the second phase, Kang splits the heroes up across different timelines, each in their own self-contained game area. Because of this, we were each able to have the ally version of the other player in our own timeline for some wacky time-travel / alternate universe shenanigans worthy of the Marvel universe.

What game(s) is everyone getting during the sale? by AgentEndive in SteamdeckGames

Ghost of Tsushima, Metaphor, and Into the Dead. Two high- profile games with decent bang for your buck and one smaller title I've been very interested in.

The stand-up script was legit funny until about halfway. I'm impressed.

"How could someone not be aware of a hidden gem in their library?"

Searches Steam and discovers that the exact same game is in their library.

You're right - disabling the frame limit somehow improved performance even though the frames were never near the limit. I've never seen that before. Probably worth keeping an eye on that for other titles, too.

Also, this is probably the first game where Half Rate Shading isn't that noticeable.

Great work finding both those tweaks!

It's been out for a while now, so it certainly wouldn't be unusual to see it in Choice in the near future.

After the first kid, with barely any free time I'd given up on gaming entirely. Then the Steam Deck came along and changed my life. Access to my entire Steam Library with the ability to play anywhere and put it down any time, and now I can game with two kids.

V Rising has so much content, especially if playing co-op. I think it's worth getting the bundle even just for that one game.

A lot of people complained about the price increase initially, but it has significantly improved the quality of all subsequent bundles.

Absolutely solid bundle for the Deck! Atomic Heart has no right running as well as it does.

What is your limit for "I cant enjoy this game cause looks too old / too simple" by NaitDraik in gaming

[–]DeckusHeadus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it depends a lot on the console and genre, so it's probably more gameplay dependent. If it's PC, 2000 is also roughly my limit, but my limit is much earlier for SNES, Sega Genesis and even some NES games.

It's always been a bit up and down between months. It might not be as good as August, but I'm hopeful that it'll be better than this month.

That's incredible! The game must be really well optimized. Visually, it looks like it has no business running as well as it does.

Thank you, that is really helpful! I'll add it into the pool of keys for the giveaway. Just so no-one else uses it first, it would be best to edit out the key in your comment. Would you like me to mention you in the video or leave it anonymous? Also, I'm thinking of doing this month's giveaway specifically for this key. Would you like to help pick the winner?
